Bachelorette 20 - Charity Lawson - July 24 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Charity should probably stop with the whole giving 3 strikes, in a relationship, thing. Based on everything she's said this season, not only was her ex a serial cheater, he also invalidated her concerns surrounding their interracial relationship. She wasted too much time with that one, imo. She's following a somewhat mild but similar pattern with Xavier. She knows something's off, but she's still holding that 3rd strike for him. Giving him more opportunities to waste her time. Like Kelly said, she needs to take away one strike!!

As for the conversation with Joey, I felt that he gave the most sincere answer in that situation. There is no way of knowing what their future relationship will look like, racial obstacles-wise,  until he's actually in it. Being open and ready to weather that storm together is the main thing. I LOVED when he said he wants children and that when that happens, Charity's story will be his story, too. They will have (mixed) black kids. Period. That conversation was the highlight of the episode for me. I also liked what Dotun said about a good thing being just that. We can become so jaded that we forget that, at times.

It appears in this episode preview .. with her in the black sparkly dress .. on the tarmac .. she comments that she is sending someone home that doesn’t expect it .. that she sends Joey away .. she is hugging him .. he says in an overlay that she doesn’t say anything .. only cries .. and he questions if she sent him home .. that’s so sad .. and this (Ahem) indicates again that he is not F2 .. but she says she is afraid of sending her person home .. and she was bawling .. tears to her chin

Or does it go with her words during her panic attack that “it doesn’t make sense to send the man home that she loves”. Could this indicate that she actually wants the guy she sent home?? Ahem .. Joey could be her real F1

It would make me believe that there is a bit of an unusual ending .. that we haven’t seen before

Strange that when she asked Dotun about visiting his family and what to expect .. he didn’t really answer her .. he went on a long diatribe about his heart etccc.

One thing that I love about Joey are his words of affirmation to her .. he ALWAYS supports her no matter the issue .. it is all about her .. I don’t hear that from Dotun .. it’s about him .. especially this week

Yes, I noticed this too the contrast between both Dotun and Joey in their respective conversations in this episode and really all season. The physical touch and words of affirmations are Charity's top two love language, and it comes so naturally with Joey second nature. Been like this since night 1 which she reiterated again in this episode.

Well if Joey ends up at the FRC platform I sure hope he has a special flower

@Jeepers @chasus71 I see the same thing with Joey, he always wants what is best for her, how is she doing...which is why I nearly lost my mind with Sean's incessant I, Me stuff.  It was not about Charity, it was about what Sean wants.  I really liked finally seeing a bit of Tanner this episode.  I have heard what a good guy he is and see this in how he differed from Sean in the 2:1.  

Jeepers, I am confused about her possibly sending Joey away?? Don't we see him in Fiji? The time I could see him leaving is in the posting we see of her with someone just a bit taller than she.  It seems like it could be a rose ceremony.  She is tearful and not with what appears to be happy tears.  

I'm kind of over Xavier even before what we think could be his   blow up.  My F3 at this point would be Dotun/Joey and Tanner. I realize though that Charity likes Tanner but does not have love type feelings for him at this time.

@Amethyst I just can't see Sean as the lead. He looks like a kid. For me he always seems to be acting...trying too hard to show that he is into Charity and they have this big connection when they clearly don't. He holds no interest for me...not even on BIP.

@Sprite I agree Sean is annoying and I dont know why he was picked over John just ridiculous honestly. To me they had zero real connection.
