DWTS - Season 32 - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*
‘Dancing with the Stars’ is returning to ABC for Season 32
After one season on Disney+, “Dancing with the Stars” will return to ABC for Season 32 in the fall.
The move back to its original home, where it debuted in 2005, comes a year after the long-running series was bumped to Disney+ for Season 31 in an effort to boost subscribers. Season 31 aired commercial-free last fall, prior to the introduction of Disney+’s ad tiers, becoming its first live series. Season 32 was originally scheduled to air exclusively on Disney+ as well but will now simulcast on both ABC and the streaming service. Episodes will also be available to stream the next day on Hulu.

IOW our scheme didn't work. jmo their plan crashed. If it was profitable they would have stayed with Disney+.
“Season 31 gave us the opportunity to introduce ‘Dancing with the Stars’ to a new generation of fans on Disney+, and we are excited to build on that with our partners at ABC and Hulu,” added Alisa Bowen, president, Disney+

@GuardianAngel I am so glad to hear this. I watched a few episodes last time for free, but when the trial subscription ended I didn't renew it. Now with it being on ABC I can enjoy a host I really like!

@pavalygurl I'm glad to hear it too. It gave me a break because I didn't watch it on Disney and Tyra was unbearable for me to watch.
Now I can look forward to it. I've been watching since day one. I hope they get back to the basics.

Julianne Hough Reveals Why Now Is the Perfect Time to Return to ‘Dancing With the Stars’ — This Time, as Co-Host (EXCLUSIVE)
“The door has always been open for me to join or come back in any capacity because ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is my family. It’s where I feel the most myself and the most at home. The door was never, ever closed. We’ve always talked about coming back and in some sort of capacity,” Hough tells Variety exclusively in her first interview since joining the competition series. “When the idea of coming back to host came around, it was truly a full circle moment. I’ve now been a part of the show in every role — being a professional dancer to judge to now hosting.”

Hmm so is it going to be postponed or...? Matt Walsh already backed out because of the WGA strike so I wonder if KoKo gets a new partner or there won't be an elimination. Guess we will find out.

@Linds911 interesting. Now what? I wonder if he opened a can of worms. Wouldn't they have thought of all this before hand.

@GuardianAngel ikr!! Like did he ask before he accepted about it all or was too late? Bad timing.

So after years of skipping the show, I am watching tonight. Some things never change...CA and Bruno are still as annoying as ever. Alfonso is a good host. Julianne??? So far a little OTT for me. She could be nervous. I hope she tones it down ASAP.
Xochi I thought was very good...particularly as she is so young. Scored low IMO...6,6,6
Barry was OK. A little slow, but fun...6,5,5
Tyson was surprisingly stiff. He does Chippendale so I expected more...4,4,4
Allison not so good. Stiff, timing was off, not nearly as much footwork...5,4,4
Harry ... no idea who he is, but he is not a dancer. Seems nice enough, is good looking, self deprecating and has lots of SM followers so I wouldn't be
surprised if he lasts longer...4,4,4...They were being very kind.
Jason also no dance experience, but he can dance! He did very well and isn't afraid to perform....7,7,7
Jamie she was OK. Not the best, not the worst...5,5,5
Adrian not so hot, even though they praised him. I though he was stiff and looked uncomfortable...6,6,6...over scored IMO
Lele no idea who she is, but she was very good. Best of the night so far IMO...6,6,6...sorry at work, not sure if that is the correct score, but I think
she was underscored.
Mira she wasn't bad, but it just seemed off. She has done ballet for years and you can see it, but her performance was lacking. They praised her a lot, but I wasn't feeling it...6,5,6
Mauricio...he had missteps and was clunky. They were very complimentary, but fortunately scored him more correctly...5,5,5
Charity she only has cheer experience. Her tango was pretty good. I was impressed. Dotun was smiling away in the audience...7,7,8. Best score of the night so far. Definitely one of the best dances of the night.
Matt has no dance experience and you can tell...awkward, missteps, more performance than dance...4,4,4
Ariana Best dance of the night. Had no idea who she is...one of those housewives (whose cheating partner was on Special Forces last night). Good dancing and she has the performance ability...7,7,7. I am surprised she didn't get at least one 8 to tie Charity.
In the bottom two...Matt and Mauricio...out is Matt. Not a shock.
I am ticked off that voting starts at the start of the show...before we even see anyone dance and ends at the last commercial break! So people are voting for the person (or the pro) and not the dance. And then they get ticked off that people who aren't good dancers make it to the end. They have nobody but themselves to blame.
Either way...good night. No obvious ringers that I could tell. Scoring was pretty good. It should be an interesting season. Lots of potential.

@jojo47 I will keep editing that post so everything is in one post.
So far it's pretty good. I am surprised by how many people have no or very little dance experience.
