Bachelor Australia - Season 10 - Kiki - **Sleuthing Spoilers**

I want to know more about this girl. Potential Thomas F1 as he's clearly into her IMO. Appearances/closeups in several clips including what appears to be a Fantasy Suite, but hasn't been named. Also featured as the thumbnail for the video titled "It's women's choice". Does she knock him back? I'm intrigued.

Oh yeah I could definitely see this girl being Thomas' cup of tea - seems they're into the same self help/affirmations waffle.
Would not be at all surprised if he wants to pursue her but she turns him down for some poetic Girl Power reason or another.

I haven't watched yet but apparently Kiki reveals she has children. Should have looked more closely at her IG because the clues were there.

Thomas wouldn't want to be a step dad IMO - he's too self-centred and would want his "own". And this post suggests he doesn't want ANY kids right now.
So that explains why (presumably) Kiki is not F1. She would have been otherwise IMO judging by the way he was chasing her during Eps 1 & 2.butterflylove wrote:
Interesting Facebook posts for Mother's Day.. "last thing I could think of is having a kid right now".

Yes. This.

"We were just on different trajectories and that was totally okay," she said. Prior to what would be her final Rose Ceremony, Kiki had already begun thinking she wouldn't accept a rose from Thomas.
"I knew we had a beautiful connection," she continued, "but he definitely had his five-year plan laid out, that wasn't going to be for me. Despite him saying it wasn't a dealbreaker, in the end, I feel like it was, and so my time was up in the house."
Having watched the show back, Kiki also saw for the first time how Thomas had spoken about his other connections and his views on family.
"We don't hear all those additional thought lines from the boys until after the fact... it was actually a little disappointing to hear Thomas speaking in interviews about his views on being in relationships with mothers," she said.
"That wasn't something I was aware of at the time that may have also made me a little bit more apprehensive about the relationship.
"There were discussions around 'Thomas doesn't want an established family', on the flip side, there was no context around well, hang on, this woman hasn't even invited this man into her family," Kiki added.
"It was a bit disappointing that we lost that in the narrative. I'm not looking for someone to be a stepfather at this stage."
Hearing Thomas speaking about his views on relationships with mums after the fact, Kiki said, "It gave me a bit of the ick".

Ha that's the weird thing about Thomas and why I started on the fence and while there are positives about him, I never fully got off the fence. He was super weird about the Kiki being a mother thing, in my opinion, and yeah when did she ever say she was looking for a replacement baby daddy? Her kids are old enough they don't need a father figure especially when their dad is still involved. She was looking for a boyfriend not a stepfather for her kids!
I think the 'ick' perfectly describes Thomas. He looks good, seems to talk the talk most of the time, but then is all weird about the dating a mother thing when there was no reason to be. Unless there's more to it than that, like not wanting a relationship with someone still in constant contact with an ex, or something like that. idk ... however next time don't cast a woman with kids for a dude who no doubt did tell Ten producers he wasn't interested in anyone with kids already...
(not that there's likely to even be a next time)

Hmmm yeah I was never a Thomas fan - found out too much about him and his dodgy pyramid scheme before the show.
The thing I don't get is how does he go from "the last thing I could think of is having a kid right now" on that Facebook post in May (during filming) to expecting a commitment from Kiki to bear him children in the near future?
As we discussed on the episode thread, the universe doesn't give a damn what your 5 year plan is, and I find it ironic that someone who claims to be a Life Coach doesn't seem to have any capacity for unpredictability/curveballs.
I also find it hypocritical that a self-confessed former drug and alcohol abuser isn't more accepting of other people's life history. What if Kiki had asked for a guarantee that he wasn't going to relapse and pose a risk to her children?!
Anyway, his loss. Kiki is a total catch and I'm sure will have no trouble attracting admirers who don't share Thomas' single mother hangups and have the emotional maturity to appreciate the opportunity to be part of a blended family.

Bobette wrote: Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to having children. You could find the "perfect" partner (for Thomas that would be currently child free but wanting to reproduce later) but then you find out one of you is infertile, or you have repeated miscarriages, or you have a child with disabilities, or your partner leaves you when the baby is born and the court awards them full custody, or they move overseas, or, or, or.... Life is messy! You cannot plan it down to the nth degree. If you meet someone you want to be with and they already have kids, that's part of who they are.
leavers wrote:Thomas I think is mostly alright but he's silly about Kiki. What a silly dealbreaker when her kids are 18 - a literal adult! you don't have to worry about that one! - and 9. It's not like they're toddlers and they're never going to be looking for a father figure with the dad on the scene and being so old already. Like Bobette's earlier post said, life is messy - sometimes you've just gotta go with the flow. The only thing I can see being an actual dealbreaker is her not wanting more and him wanting his own, but to even rule out dating over it and see what happens?

Oh man, I keep forgetting about the MLM thing. Boo hiss, Thomas! Kiki dodged a bullet then.
I agree, Kiki is 100% a catch. She won't have any problem attracting a mature man.

Anyone following Kiki on Instagram post-show?
She's been posting beachie nudes and talking about why she's so sex positive.
Thomas must be kicking himself so hard.
