Charity also had a Hometown Date with Zach in week eight in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Charity was eliminated in fourth place in week eight at the eighth Rose Ceremony after her Hometown Date with Zach.

It really is a lovely city (and country) with warm people, and (IMO) although it's a large city, it doesn't feel as overwhelming as a lot of other large European cities (and Budapest airport is much easier to get in/out of than many of the others!_

My husband and I went for our honeymoon two years ago - almost the same time of the year they filmed this episode - and it was just as wonderful as we both recalled when we had been there (separately) decades earlier.

It was such fun watching this episode and feeling a little like reliving our time in Budapest.

You totally should add it to your bucket list. Really!

they've been pushing the "kaitlyn and zach are both from austin" angle all season, so maybe that's why her hometown is there and not canada? from the podcasts they've each done it sounds like that's where they're planning to live after the finale, so i assume it's something the show will highlight at atfr to promote their success story (because with the way the show's been going the last few years, actually making it to atfr with the person you got engaged to at the frc is a success story )
