I will give kudos to ABC for their gracious and respectful manner in handling Erich’s HTD .. it was well done IMHO .. and really heart to a very difficult situation and showed a real intimate and genuine side of Erich and his family . Again reinforcing Erich’s and Gabbys conversation at their 1n1

I liked what I saw between Gabby & Erich tonight. I don’t think she would’ve kept him going forward if she wasn’t invested.
I continue to not have a good feeling about Tino’s motives. Can’t shake it.

@Sprite  IDK, I really like Tino but am really disappointed in his parents' treatment of Rachel.  She was ever gracious to them and they were an embarassment.  I was surprised because I thought they would be more... maybe well mannered?  This is sadly a red flag for me.

I loved, loved, loved Jason's family.  I wish he was more ready for a relationship.  However, seeing this side of Erich, I believe he is the best fit for Gabby.  It breaks my heart to see that family go through Allen's illness.  At the same time, I am so inspired by the love they all have for each other and so glad his dad got to meet Gabby.   I am looking forward to seeing how Johnny's folks like VF as compared to Gabby. 

I felt so bad for Tyler and his family.  What an awkward situation to have to be on tv.  I'm behind on my BIP spoilers, but doesn't he meet someone there?  Zach's family was lovely also.  His uncle was a treat to see.   My dad was also a fire captain, so I have a special affinity there.  If spoilers are correct, I think Zach will be heart-broken.  He to me is the guy every mom wants her daughter to marry!  I am so torn about Tino and his parents' "behavior".  More to see on this I guess.  Sigh.  Wonder why Aven's date was held over?  Time is tight with seven I guess.

I actually liked all of Gabby's dates - Jason has a lovely family who is really in tune with his struggles to open up. Johnny's family was so supportive - they know he wasn't ready but wanted to give him support on national TV - just what you want your family to do. And Erich's family was just touching and sad and hopeful. His mother an angel. Gabby being an ICU nurse was undoubtedly comfortable with the situation, which I'm sure made them feel more comfortable. We know now how much Erich had invested at home and to put that aside and take a risk with Gabby, makes us appreciate him more.

Rachel - How cute was it to have the movie of their first date at Zach's hometown? I felt for Tyler but does he not have intuition? He strikes me as someone who wants to be in love so much that he can't see the forest through the trees. I suspect we'll see some SM post from Tino's family saying how much they liked Rachel. Their attitude reminded me of Roberto Martinez's family (Bachelorette #4 Ali) who considered their son a huge prize.

Did not like Tinos attitude at all. He’s in it to win it. Why did his folk not similarly grill him and talk him out of this prize ? Why was Rachel grilled instead of their son ? I totally get what his parents said though they came across as rude. However, it is your son that needs the reality (pardon the pun) check and not the lead.
If I were Rachel I would be listening and hearing what the contestant  are actually saying to her at this point and not get wrapped up in emotion. Jmho

(Btw watching yt clips so may have missed a lot !)

Oh and the 0 emotion from him when saying he has been falling in love.
It’s like a game for him !
