It's setting things up for when Gabby dumps Nate because she is not ready to be a mom.

That just came out of nowhere. They were enjoying the date one minute and she’s dumping him the next.

This is an intense breakup.

At least it seemed real- real genuine heartbroken feelings between the two.

That's around 25 minutes of all Nate, and still going on.

I'm a little surprised that he didn't make the hometowns but can understand why she didn't want to put his daughter through that if he wasn't the one.
