She looks drunk to me and not that enthusiastic when she is saying that.

Do we have any concrete sleuthing to think that Nayte is the F1 other than his pup posts after being MIA for a few days?

Those are pretty strong words and there's no reason why Brandon would think otherwise at this point. She's going to be asked during every interview about this which takes away from Nayte if he is in fact the F1, just like they did to Rachel.

I liked it better when in years past the lead was not to mention the love word or how they felt at any time during the season.

To the bolded, IMO dropping the L-word on more than one person must be awful for the families of both. I imagine one would feel their child was deceived and the other would feel sceptical and protective. I too think leads should be strongly advised to wait until the finale or use the privacy of the fantasy suite.
If ILY is only said to one person early then that’s fine other than it making the ending known at that point.

Her telling Brandon she’s in love is actually cringe worthy because it’s like she’s trying to convince herself that she loves him, there’s absolutely no emotion when she’s telling him. And not to mention all of that distance between them on that couch. But she had a lot of emotion when she told Nayte, and they’re ALWAYS cuddled up under each other. Michelle’s body language is easy to read and in the promo I don’t buy what she’s trying to sell to Brandon

I am too jaded about this show to care what the leads do. Michelle IMO has shown throughout that she’s her own person. She said what she said to Brandon IMO because she wanted to say it.

Based on statistics alone, the odds of Michelle lasting with her F1 ain’t great, jmo. So the fans on SM are getting too pressed about the impact of this promo on whatever happens on AFTR & on her subsequent relationship with the F1. I apply 80/20 rule when I assess how these leads have handled their role & IMO, Michelle has been fantastic, no lead IMO can handle the role at a perfect 10 outta 10, there’s bound to be some flaws, jmo.

I think Brandon has been accounted for most of the weekends.

@mercieme IA Michelle has been one heck of a bachelorette.

I simply have a difficult time in believing a person is in love with two people. So much in love that she specifically says she's in love and that she never met a person like him. She has the same blouse on in her PI when she says that.

Watching that again, IA @Sprite she looks out of it.

Agreed. These people are humans. Not TV figures but real people doing their best in a very odd situation that at best would be emotionally exhausting and confusing. Odds are slim to meet your forever person in an environment like this- although not impossible. At best, the show is a sociological experiment to see if people can fall in love, or something like it, in a controlled environment.

Nayte and Brandon are very different and likely represent heart versus head for Michelle, which can be a challenging choice. It's clear Michelle is crazy over Nayte and has been for a very long time. It's also clear she is taken with Brandon- although in my opinion it's because of the intoxication of having someone so crazy over her because I don't see a lot of commonalities there and find them long term less viable. But whether or not she works with Nayte, whom I'm very positive she chooses- she would BREAK her own heart to not choose him- has little to do with the show and everything to do with what they find out and decide about each other and their life compatibility after the show.

@GuardianAngel This is wildly speculative but a few days ago when Nayte was on Clickbait, some folks pointed out that he was in a jacket/sweatshirt with a hat on. Totally inappropriate for the 81 degree weather in Austin around the same time it was taped but perfect if he was somewhere cold. He was also drinking a Celsius during the interview- same drink Michelle was drinking during one of her instastories. Obviously could be coincidental but in this Bachelor world, few things are.

I'm just glad that my tv provider, YouTubeTV, came to a deal with Disney so I can watch it tomorrow night.

I don't like it when the lead tells more than one that they're in love with them. They never used to tell either one which is the best as far as I'm concerned. Maybe this is the new way of making it appear equal which it almost never is. I believe it changed with Ben's season, didn't it?
