Bachelor 27 - Zach Shallcross - Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

tino is the only one from this season i'd be excited about but i think he's rachel's guy.

from previous seasons i'd love to see mike johnson or ben smith.

I’m not excited for any of these guys to be lead’s either.

The show is really going on the defensive on the Nate story. I already see some talking heads of the show Lessing the story. ABC clearly wants him and he has enough friends from this series that will help him do that.

I wasn’t interested in him as lead even before the story.

I like Nate and think he'd be a good bachelor. No one has a pristine past. I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt that he has learned his lesson. If you were to judge me by some of the things I did in my 20s, well, at the very least I'd be red-faced and ashamed. Thankfully, no social media then to expose my faults.

Frankly I don't see any of these guys as being interesting enough to be the next bachelor. As for Nate, I don't want to see someone who has recently treated several women as sh*t being rewarded. IMO his response thus far don't exactly scream enlightened.

Tyler C is single again, I wonder if they could convince him to do it. Just a thought.

Couldn't agree with this more, Sprite! Nate has a lot of growing up to do and I, for one, don't need to watch that on my t.v. It's incredibly difficult for young women to find trustworthy, genuine, non-'players' to date. Choosing Nate is just a slap in the face to all of those women, IMO.

certainly sounds like a next bachelor post imo. rs said that abc paid for nate and his daughter to go to disneyland too.

I'm not against Nate as lead but really don't know much about the allegations. Personally, I'd rather have someone like Ethan but he didn't get the edit or even a solo date.

Albean, you and I almost always on the same page. You really have to read about the Nate situation as RS detailed in his column (the link may be on the SM thread). In my view, there’s a lot of evidence that he mistreated some women. Maybe I’m old but I found his behavior slimy and untrustworthy. He has work to do before he should be the lead.

Am I the only wishing on a double bachelor lead if they seem to favor Nate right now ! The situation is not clear with his ex and not a lot of people will bother to go and read the details. I would counterbalance with an impeccable (no controversy whatsoever) other lead and it would interesting to see what goes down during the show...Why not Zach? or Ethan? or even Erich (if he's not F1) they seem to check all the boxes so far!

I really like Zach a lot - but that is based on what I'm watching on TV. I have not read any of the other spoiler information or background on any of the guys, so I don't know if there is dirt on him.

But I also could see a double bachelor lead with, say, Zach and Nate. Then you'd have the first diverse double lead!
