I don't follow the NFC very closely even though we live in the Dallas area. I guess I'll probably root for the Niners over the Rams. I think it would be a huge upset in the Chiefs would lose the game against the Bengals. Now that our team is out and I don't dislike any of the ones left, it's not as exciting.

Congrats Bengals! Sorry to the Chief's fans.

Yes, finally a team I wanted who hasn't been in forever. So happy for the Bengles as they have fought all season. KC is good and they will have another shot at it again in the future. We just needed new teams this year in the superbowl instead of your usual big time QB's and repeat teams.

For once I really won't care who wins as I will be just a football fan watching wanting a good game instead of a blowout.

Does anyone have traditional meals/ snacks for Super Bowl?

WE usually do finger foods like little beef smokies, meatballs, wing dings, 5 layer dip, chips , veggie platter, fruit platter, cheese crackers, then the main course is Barbeque beef ribs, potato salad corn on cob, barbecue beans and a dinner roll, It happens at halftime

Yum!! I haven't made a 5 layer dip in a long time. I would eat everything on your menu.

We keep it simple since it's just the 2 of us unless our youngest son comes over. We just made pizza for the weekend games so will probably have my hubby's yummy sliders with ground beef (or turkey) and applewood bacon, macaroni salad, and nachos for later. We'll get our vegges in with hummus for an appetizer.

I'll be rooting for the Bengals. I don't really dislike this version of the Rams but prefer the underdogs in this SuperBowl. I just hope it lives up to the excitement we've had in all of the games during the playoffs. Go Bengals!

@Linds911 Yes, I agree that finger foods are the best to include PIZZA!! . Usually if we go with Pizza we order from little Caesars and then include like an order of 40 or so nuggets from McDonalds .

@GuardianAngel The 5-layer dip is my weakness. I can sit there and eat the entire thing in one sitting . I also have a really quick recipe for Nachos, easy way to incorporate Chips and Dip all in one!!

@albean99 I like your menu too, sliders are a good idea because like your family does, you can include any type of meat to them. I am also with you on the game needing to be good and not some blow-out where the other team barely tries. I can't stand those you know, the SB over before halftime because the score is out of reach from the losing team.
