Big Brother returns with a live, 90-minute premiere on Wednesday, July 7 at 8/7c, followed by three-times-a-week airings on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 pm, beginning Sunday, July 11. Season 23 features a Big Risks and Big Rewards theme, where one wrong gamble could cost players everything. And by the end of the season premiere, houseguests will be presented with a double-or-nothing offer that could prove too good to pass up.

I have the live feeds ready to go but as of yet I don’t have my usual excitement level. BB20 spoiled me and then BB22 took a lot out of me. At the very least I plan to watch the episodes.
The premiere is a live move in so all the houseguests are still in sequester. There was some behind the scenes casting changes.
Christian was an alternate who replaced a guy named named Garrett right before the cast list was released to the public.
Now rumor has it that one of the announced cast is also being replaced by an alternate. Which one and by whom has yet to be revealed but we may know by tonight. I’ll let you know if I hear anything.

Covid is a possibility naturally. Also, family emergencies or stress/mental issues.
With the exception of last season we’ve usually seen these things on the feeds/show. The cast are usually only sequestered about a week and then are put into the house with the others for a week before the premiere. Although I know it’s happened, we usually never hear about
replacements during sequester except for last season (Keesha replaced Kaycee and Memphis replaced Josh). We only know about this season because CBS accidentally released a picture with Garrett in it before he was replaced.
