Thanks @Maddy for that explanation.  I didn't want to stereotype him because he does look a bit rough around the edges.  Was hoping he might be a big softie underneath, but will wait to see what unfolds. The fact that the ig message was shown usually means there is some truth to it.

Ep 3 finished - it was nothing special.  All very pleasant dates.  There doesn't seem to be any big personalities or villainous characters yet, but maybe Sasha coming back will change that.  Zlata and Max had a long, in depth conversation at the end and I barely understood a thing as it was very wordy.  Why was she shocked when he was talking about Shanghai?  Was Vlad intimating that Max is a smooth mover?  The looks on the guys faces at the end of the RC when I assume Max gets a date .

He was telling her that while living in Shanghai he had a relationship, that lasted 7 years. On the 3rd year living together he was not sure she was the right girl for him and he told her that maybe she was wasting her time with him. Zlata said how can you live with somebody for 3 years and on he 3rd year start thinking that she is not a right person for you. What kind of relationship was that? She didn't like it.
Then he said that while being apart for 2 weeks he understood he needed to fix that. But she already started seeing somebody else and didn't tell him about that and so on.
And at the end of the RC Zlata told Max that he can join any of her 1 on 1 dates with somebody at any time, or he can send somebody out of any GD away.

I don’t know if the men are taking their cues from Zlata Or if because of their careers that they are so calm, cute and pleasant to each other. No drama do far...
Zlata seems like crouching tiger hidden dragon; like she needs a jolt of energy to bring out her true nature.

It’s been low key but pleasant so far imo... now sure if by design or this group and lead

Yes, I know, it's boring for a lot of people, Zlata herself first of all.
I was not sure I was going to watch it, didn't have that much time. But started watching anyway, wanted to see how this season was going to be. Still getting to know most of them, including Zlata. Last episode was a bit more interesting for me.
I don't like a lot of drama anyway. Looks like a good group of guys. Don't like Sasha anymore, waiting for him to leave. Didn't like Bogdan at all and she sent him home, good.

I am catching up. A several things I have to comment on:

Enough with the giant bouquets of flowers and all the gifts. It's like a p*ssing match about who can give the biggest/best gift. It feels like they are trying to buy her affections. I know @natik has explained that this is part of the culture, but it just bugs me. I will give them the first meeting, but will this continue every date?

Are these men blind? Do they have no idea about how to behave on a date...other than to bring a big giant bouquet of flowers? Admittedly, I can barely understand anything other that an odd word/phrase here and there, but they can't seem to read body language. Poor Zlata was cringing repeatedly on these dates and she was clearly uncomfortable. The pool dates just went on and on. The poor woman was freezing and tired, and they kept fighting over her like three dogs over a bone. It was even more annoying to me because they were trying to be gallant by wrapping her in towels, but yet continued on and on and totally ignored how uncomfortable she was.

Lastly, her stylist should be fired! I have never seen more ghastly outfits on any lead. Zlata is a beautiful woman. Yes, I know she is a singer and wears clothes that may be more out there than the average woman, but seriously. That hideous pink poof thing for the pool. WTH? The pink bathing suit that didn't fit properly on her hips. I kept thinking I was about to get flashed every time she moved. Then that black hat that didn't fit/sit on her head properly. The atrocious hair and suit with gigantic sparkling flowers and bicycling shorts for the 2nd rose ceremony. The first bette styling and overall production standards for the Russian/Ukrainian seasons were so much better that the American. I was really looking forward to this season and now, instead, I can't wait to see what horrible thing they will put her in next.

Lol @Sprite I totally agree with you about everything. I mentioned this on the show’s IG, Zlata’s and a fan site. For a celebrity, they’re dressing her like there’s no budget or some burlesque act... maybe they are scaling it down to meet the guys level, idk.

By the 2nd episode I asked where do the flowers go thinking maybe there are donated, but someone responded that they are Zlata’s so I guess that means she keeps them.

Lol, it is a competition and I want to see a guy take charge and own it. Stop worrying about friendship in the house. I find it interesting to see multiple group and 2/1 dates. One way of cutting out lots of single dates and it moves the show along.

I was surprised to see Vasko go but Bogdan was a confused mess. What was his issue?
Maxim is laying on the charm and he appears to be extremely intelligent and aware of Zlata by being sensual, attentive, her rescuer, and interest in her. Man, he took the opportunity to let her taste those exotic fruits and stared into her eyes

Then back to Bogdan, rather than open up to her, he started to stuff his mouth with grapes. Poor thing was mercifully let go.

Surprising guys: Vincent, Oleg and Vlad. Are they next to go? I actually think they are fun.

Unsure guys: Sasha, Roman (dentist). Andrei the diver and Dimitri. There are some secrets and I’m not liking their vibes. Looks like the diver doesn’t like Roman the psychologist. What is that about? And the dentist is full of himself big ego. Sasha is too smirky.

Then there’re Andrei, Roman and Maxim. Andrei had a single date, so the other definitely will as well. So how is Zlata making up her mind with so little time with each guy?

Zlata seems sweet and I hope she’s happy with whomever she picked
