Episode 1 - 1/13 - Sweet Home Alabama 3 - Discussion

Great first show ! Hubby even watched it with me and commented about how much better this show is than TB (and yes, we watched that this week.....still asking myself WHY?? LOL).

I really liked Bubba's self-confidence right out of the gate. He was relaxed and comfortable and I think Paige took note really quickly. His body language just sells the fact that he likes who he is...me likey too!

Jeremiah is flat-out sexy and his smile drew me right in. He'll go really far IMO.

Please, please, please send David & city Shaun home......not there for YOU Paige!

Alot of sweet guys there but for me, Bubba & Jeremiah lead the pack....JIMO

My husband and I watched it together too! We both loved it! The guys were so funny! I think the diversity is what makes it so entertaining!

Just finished watching. I loved it! Cowboy Shaun is hilarious and so entertaining to watch. I know he's way too young to end up with Paige or as the next lead, but I hope he stays around for awhile spewing country proverbs and charm. "I'm from Arkansas. I had to ask my cousin really nice to let me come over here."

As everyone else has noted, Bubba is gorgeous. He's currently my pick for F1. If not, hopefully he'll be the next Bach and we can have a season full of Emily Maynard types competing for him.

Paige is doing great as a lead. She really taps into the personality of the guys she talks to and plays to their strengths (Ben F. does not do this). I also love her post-show revelations that she's so in love. :arrowlove: This will be a great season! I'm really happy for her.

Agree with all of you. Love Bubba (swoon) and Jeremiah is adorable, plus a few others, like Seth. Shaun Smith is hilarious, just like his buddy, Cody Harris (from Devins's season and OCLicious from last season, and they keep them around for a while, plus they are nice).

I noticed when Shaun was happy and blushing, telling the guys he has the first date, Bubba put his arm around him and smiled, and all the guys seemed happy for Shaun.

My sister and friends love this show much better than the Bachelor this season, which puts us to sleep. We watch with our boyfriends/husbands, as it's a Friday night. The guys all love the country guys, but we all live down south. haha. As a matter of fact none of them are watching the Bachelor after the first 2 epi and that has never happened before. The lead has to be believable, that they are in it looking for love, and Paige is great. She's fun and exciting to wach as she interacts with so many different type of guys, and she's so very kind to all of them. Love the guys Wish it was a 2 hr. show every week. Cannot wait for next Friday.

Thoughts about the episode last night

- Paige definitely got a boob job. Haha, obviously..
- the other guy with the cow boy hat Shawn? (not bubba) seems really sweet from his first impression
- Bubba is for lack of better words awesome and ahhhmazing already
- Did I mention she definitely got a boob job? Oh ok good.
- Shaun from the city has the deepest voice ever. It doesn't match him at all.
- Paige seems like she is reading off a teleprompter when she is talking about herself, so unnatural and awkward.
- the city guys all seem rediculious but I think they do that to make sure the lead picks country every season
- Shaun is annoying me already.
- Bubba is so handsome. Whoever said that he reminds them of JP ITA. He seems very genuine.
- I love when she freaks out and squeels "like snookie?!?" talking to the guy from Jersey
- She seemed at easy with Bubba and even noticed his blue eyes. Aww!
- I can't get over her boob job.. Shooting her bow just threw them right out there, I really didn't think she needed one before and now I don't think she should have gotten one (or didn't she? so confusing)
- Everytime Bubba says something my heart just melts.
- I'm sort of confused in her decision to send the firefighter home on the first night.

To Carrie A - agree that she's reading off a teleprompter when talking about herself - she does great other than that and CMT does want a country winner; though a couple of the city guys are somewhat intriguing. I'm sure the guys were wondering the same question you asked - did she or didn't she? I also liked that they presented her NASCAR "Closure" right away so it didn't have to come from the tabloids. I suspect Paige is more in love because she didn't really expect to be. Tribble and Devin probably told her you can go on the show without a lifetime commitment so the relationship caught her off guard. That's a great story if it works out that way.

Wow! Paige's excitement makes me excited for the rest of the season! I can see it being several of the country guys. I still think Bubba will be the next guy and people will be ok, due to Paige being so happy. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] What do you guys think?

Oh, and my personal fav is Seth. I like him, Jeremiah and Bubba (although I don't like his name).
