Wow he looks great with that hair. I feel like the show wasn't the best for him.
I hope the amputation goes well for him. I have a friend who had an amputation (as an adult, after decades of trying to live with the results of a hit and run when she was in preschool) and it was a fairly emotionally traumatic experience for her, even though it was what she wanted. Then dealing with phantom pain, learning to walk, etc etc was a long hard road. All good now but yeah its not a super easy thing to do and I remember her saying just before it "please don't tell me it's the best thing or it'll work out because I really hate that I have to do this". So I hope it works out, I hope he has great help, and I hope he heals well both physically and mentally.

What a story. I have never heard of that disease. I hope his docmentary brings much needed awareness. He sounds like he has a great attitude, which I'm sure will help in the recovery process.

When I stopped drinking, I did it cold turkey, and I almost died. I had severe withdrawals, seizures, and was hospitalized for 3 days. If you want to quit drinking and are scared of the withdrawals, GO TO THE HOSPITAL! They will get you through the first few days of it!!

I had no idea it was this bad, though she was drunk all tie time in Paradise. Anyway, good for her! I really hope she can keep it up.

ETA: She commented on Reddit and said: “I stopped drinking because I was so physically dependent on it. I was getting the shakes so bad I couldn’t function. I was having to take a shot the second I woke up. I was puking all the time. I could feel my body dying.”
