I'm disappointed by this behavior, but not surprised. It seems to me that influencers should not have been affected by the pandemic all that much. How many of them stopped visiting friends, going out, partying, or traveling? Even if they stayed closer to home, a creative influencer can always come up with a post.
Unfortunately they were far from being the only people to make a grab for those funds.

It seems like Colton is somewhat off the hook, since he applied for his foundation that he doesn’t ha an income from.

Apparently it's not that difficult to apply for, and get loan forgiveness. Some of the money was also given out as grants.

I worked for a larger accounting firm when the PPP loans were first introduced, I was disgusted watching the vultures go for the "grab". Needless to say I don't work for that firm any more. Those PPP loans were supposed to keep small businesses afloat.
