This might be the first time a former couple are on the same show. There may have been others that went on a few dates then on BIP but Joe and Kendall were in a serious lengthy relationship which is unique.
IMO tptb would definitely want them appearing together because it’s the kind of post-breakup storyline that fans will tune in for.
Neither of them may have known but JMO they both would have suspected each would get a sweetened offer to be on the beach. I suspect we will hear an adult convo between them which will be refreshing.

That article sounds a little odd to me -- she wasn't expecting him to be there and yet she had a "gut" feeling he would be there because she thought producers would have him there because they wanted her to come. Basically, this source is saying that she didn't expect him to be there, but she was anticipating that he would be. She knew that he was going -- just be honest about it. JMO.

I'm not looking forward to seeing Kendal arrive. There is going to be a lot of hurtful feelings imo. I can totally understand Kendal thinking he'll be there, knowing TPTB and how they like the shock value. Hopefully it will help both of them to move on.
