I'm watching the 2nd hour because I missed it last night.

What exactly did Chris want to get out of have his ex and Paige talk?

He is a good example of those in today's society that think they can do and say whatever they please but if they are called out for it, the situation is turned and blamed against everyone else. He has done it time and time again. He sit's there and interrupts the conversation out of the blue saying he can't wait to order food watch tv and read the bible. Why is it that some of those who mention religion the bible and quote versus are always the one's who obviously haven't learned anything from a bible.

He stated before the meeting that he “thought it would be cool”. And to “clear the air”. None of that makes ANY SENSE. The two woman have nothing to do with any of this. It’s all ON HIM.

You’re exactly correct. He just expects everyone to accept his gibberish BS as true fact. When that doesn’t work, sprinkle in a little Bible talk. It’s textbook manipulation. Then, if anyone dares to call him out on his OBVIOUS LIES, he lashes out, claims HE’S the victim, and becomes abusive. It’s nauseating. He sends mixed messages so fast, how can one even follow? One minute he’s telling Paige and Pastor Cal he wants a divorce and he’s getting back together with his “ex-fiancé”, the next nano-second, he’s whispering to Paige he’s “falling in love with her”!

I don’t know what to make of the “ex-fiancé”. Is she trying to get her 5 minutes of fame? What was the point for HER to have this meeting? OBVIOUSLY the information she had gathered from Chris was different from the facts. I mean, there’s NO WAY Chris is lying to Paige and being honest with her. Honesty is NOT in this guy’s DNA.

And what about his parents? Aren’t they both Pastors? The dad is creepy. But I still wonder why they would be supportive of this marriage if there was still an “engagement”. But then again, Chris lies. So who knows what they know. He was really upset about Paige being HONEST with them after the wedding. I didn’t get that he was mad about her telling them that they had sex. It was more about her telling them “his business”.

Chris is so horrible on so many levels. He is just another example of another horrible, horrible human who has the ability to charm and manipulate other people in order to elevate himself into a position of power, fame or both. These situations always leave me wondering why is it so easy for some of us to see so clearly? Yet for others, many times LOTS OF OTHERS, it is so easy to fall for this type of person so easily and buy into their lies?

Paige is falling for his BS. She is so sweet, articulate and very mature. Why is she putting up with him. I would have been done so long ago.

Years ago I had a friend whose husband was abusive. She had the means and opportunity to leave but she didn't. She went to therapy and she still didn't leave. This was about 30 years ago and my heart still breaks for her. (She moved to Europe for her job and we unfortunately lost touch.)

I hope Paige does come to a realization that he is simply not a good person and that she would indeed thrive without him in her life. But I think sometimes, for whatever reasons, some women find it very difficult to make the break.

@Doats I'm sorry to hear about your friend.

There are so many people in that situation and I just cannot understand the logic for staying. I think they are so mentally abusive they don't have the confidence in themselves.

Paige seems to be a very confident smart gal, I just don't get it.

Anyone watching? I wish they would not focus so much on Paige and Chris.

I got here a short time ago and am now watching.

I'm not sure what more I can say about Chris and Paige except Chris is hopeless and I'm done with him and I hope Paige guards her heart. (please forgive my run on sentence)

That guy was a pastor of Chris'. Chris, however, said he would no longer have contact with him since he didn't tell him he was going to meet with Paige.

I’m not to the part where they meet (if they do) but just saw Paige with the girls. She made the comment, “....to be very honest, what ever the good Lord presents to me, when I wake up that morning, that’s what I’m going to be led by...”

Ok. I’m all for being religious. But the good Lord also gave you a brain, the ability to think for yourself and free will. USE IT.
