Bachelorette Ukraine - Season 1 - Ksenia Mishina - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

On a random note the ratings are going through the roof with each new episode. They broke the record for the Bachelor season 10. And the Bachelor season 10 was the most successful out of all seasons regarding ratings. Now the Bachelorette season 1 has the top spot.

Interesting ep.  I agree with @Idlemess - Sasha's screen time was much less than the others as they try to downplay him.  What was he thinking about getting tattoos? It
didn't go over well, but maybe they have them now  

As expected, Lyosha's date was good and his parents seemed nice as well.  I picked up on dad talking about Lyosha's "biznes" and that it is his priority.
I think the parents must be doing alright too, going by the size of the house.  There is just something about him though that is not likeable imo.  Maybe it's his eyes -
they are shifty .  

And good riddance to Andrej.  I feel he would suck the life out of you with his endless whining.

Also brilliant of the tptb to give the guys a rose before the ceremony and watch them get all cocky .

Exactly! As you both already mentioned they are trying everything to downplay the connection between Ksenia and Sasha. Did you caught how many kisses they showed from thousands of different camera perspectives just to play up the attraction between Ksenia and Lyosha. That was just insane. And still a lot of people were bored with their date. Many of them wrote that they don't feel it with those two that it seems so forced and blend.

I think Lyosha is downplaying the influence of hid dad in his life. Although Lyosha tried to explain Ksenia that he doesn't think like his dad I don't buy it. Lyosha told that he started his business from zero but you need a sponsor or an investor to make it in Ukraine as a business owner. So it seems to me like he depends financially from his dad. I think his dad helped him out with his business. And I think that the word of his dad is for Lyosha like a law. His dad is the boss in the family and everyone is obeying him.
It was interesting to see glimpses of the real Lyosha on the after show. Every time when he was criticized he got passive aggressive. I think the real Lyosha is getting fast very annoyed when he is not getting his way. And I also think the he is very pedantic. I think in real life he would be troubled with Ksenia`s son because her son is a very active kid and that would not be a good fit with the pedantic Lyosha. He would be very fast annoyed with Platon´s attitude.

Andrej is something. Good God that man is so wishy washy and so insecure in what he really wants. It is like you never know with him he could love you today and fall out of love with you tomorrow. They again spoke about his ex. I don't even understand why he is always bringing up his ex girlfriends on dates with Ksenia. It is such a dumb thing to do. So Ksenia asked him if he is sure that he is over his ex. He said he is sure. Ksenia asked again, but what if you are going to see her somewhere again would you be then sure regarding your feelings. And at that point there was a long pause. Ksenia said he was seriously thinking about it. And then he answered I can't tell you because you never know what gonna happen in life. He is a restless case.
As already mentioned before I seriously think he was the producers choice for the F3. I think Ksenia was willing to let him go earlier than that.

Regarding the tattoo idea from Sasha I am gonna explain. Each episode she was whining that she is so unsure in his feelings for her. And even I didn´t get it because he was saying to her that he is in love, he was considered with his gifts. They had a lot of meaning and depth. He was considering her in their conversations, what she likes, who she is, what she feels. They had a very substantial talk in the last episode about how life and relationship could be after the project. And still she said to him on the last rose ceremony that it is not enough for her and that she is still unsure. He was really frustrated in his ITM after the. last rose ceremony. Because he has no idea what to do and to say that she is starting to believe him. I think Ksenia is like a typical woman in love, it is never enough for her, she needs constantly the confirmation.

So I guess to show her once again how serious it is for him he suggested the pair tattoo. And actually he had a very cool idea, very unique, very creative. As usual he put some deep meaning and thought into it. And the main point is that those pair tattoo can exist independent from each other. So in the case that she doesn't choose him her tattoo will not be connected to his. And Ksenia said that she really liked the idea. She even said that she says yes if she is going to choose him in the finale.

And here is his idea. He chose for Ksenia a compass because she likes to meditate. So when she meditates she always needs to orientate to the east and that what the compass is standing for.



Ksenia asked what is tattoo going to be and Sasha said because you are orientating yourself to the east when you are meditating I am gonna have the sunrise. Because the sunrise is happening at the east. He said that this way she can orientate herself at him when she is meditating and take his energy while doing it.



Ksenia asked him what if she is not going to choose him. He said her tattoo and his tattoo can exist separate from each other. She is having a compass for meditation to the east direction. And Ksenia asked, what is about his tattoo. Sasha answered that sun is a symbol for male energy.

She really liked the idea. She was intrigued but she was fighting with herself. I think the producers asked her to be with Sasha colder because of their insane chemistry. And you saw her having that inner conflict with herself.

When she said that sentence that she is going to say yes when she is going to choose him in the finale it was like a punch for him. In his ITM he said he was not sad because she said no to the tattoo idea, he said that all of sudden it felt for him like the reality is striking back. He said it was like he got back from heaven to the earth and realized that the possibility is big that she is not going to choose him. He was sober again, he said that maybe it is his imagination that is running wild with him and that the love between them is his illusion. He walked to her and sat next to her. He whispered "To be honest I am so sad now". And it was interesting when they showed her face. Watch her eyes, they are teary. I think she felt his pain.

Thanks @natik for explaining the tattoo.  Only Sasha could come up with an idea that contained so much symbolism for the two of them .  I wonder if any of this will be incorporated into the FRC.

The main conclusion that fate gave me on this project: there is no need to look for someone who will make you happy, someone who can compensate for the missing. You need to be full and self-sufficient and then you can fully enjoy your partner by seeing in him something that no one else can see.

Ok before the finale I got two snippets from the last rose ceremony.



Before the rose ceremony all three guys got a rose already. But all three had not a clue that each of them have a rose. The first one in the room for the rose ceremony was Sasha than Andrej walked in and they both thought that this is it, that they both are in the finale and Lyosha was sent home. But just in the moment when they both got too comfortable Lyosha walked in with a rose as well. And now they were standing there totally confused and started to asking themself what is gonna happen next. Andrej said to Lyosha that each rose ceremony he thought Lyosha is going home.
Ksenia walked in to the room. The guys were fascinated and turned on of her style.
She said that it was an important week for her and that she is really thankful that they gave her the chance to meet their families and the most important people of the guys. She asked Andrej for an individual conversation. Sasha started to get nervous he said to Lyosha that he is sweeting bullets now. Lyosha said that is so untypical for him to be so nervous, he never saw him so nervous before. Sasha said to Lyosha that maybe Andrej is right and that Ksenia is going to take away a rose from him or Lyosha.



The second snippet is happening after Ksenia took away the rose from Andrej and sent him home. Ksenia
returned to the other two guys.
Sasha said that her: "I am not sure if I want to speak to you know individually. Where is Andrej?" Ksenia answered back: "Are you feeling sadness without Andrej?"
Sasha said: "No it is sad for Andrej".
Ksenia: "It is everything alright with Andrej".
Lyosha said on his ITM that he thinks that Andrej is in the finale and that now Ksenia is going to choose the second finalist among Sasha and him.
After a pause Ksenia is walking towards Sasha and taking the rose away from him.
Ksenia: "How are you feeling now?"
Sasha: "Not good right now. It was much better when I got my suit with the rose.
Ksenia ITM: "I saw the question in his eyes, what should I leave now Ksenia?"
Sasha: "I am feeling that something is now missing in my life and on my jacket".
Sasha ITM: "I hope she understood that with something missing I meant her".
She walked then to Lyosha and took his rose away.
Lyosha said that he missed her. Ksenia said in her ITM that Lyosha is always saying the right words in the right moment.
Ksenia said that they are no roses anymore. She said that ahead is a very important week and that she wants for them not to think about roses but to listen to their heart.
Sasha said to Ksenia that it means an end to his tradition. He said that he always kept the previous rose till the next rose ceremony. And that he has the last one with him.
Ksenia said: "Show me".
Sasha: "Now?"
Ksenia: "Yes".
Sasha went away and came back with the rose from the last ceremony. He said to Ksenia that if he is saying something or is promising something or saying that he is gonna do something then so it should be. He is always keeping his word. He doesn't just throwing words out of the window.
Ksenia said in his ITM that it was valuable for her to hear that and to get that rose from the last rose ceremony from him.
Ksenia ITM: "I want a beautiful, real and for the rest of my life finale".

The look on Sasha's face when Ksenia took the rose off .   He was smiling defiantly, but there was insecurity in his eyes.

Yasss!!! Absolutely that entire scene said it all between the two of them. Poor Sasha was experiencing all kinds of thoughts in that moment. Take a look at how Ksenia tried so hard to keep a stern face but her eyes couldn’t lie.

@Agent99 @Idlemess Absolutely. He was shocked but tried to hide his emotions behind his smile. Ist was like a protection shield.
