Yes I hate this too every time I see these statements. They will say it as well with Matt James and any other Black lead until a black lead picks a POC as the winner. It makes no sense to me how some folks expect a POC to pick a person just based on Race. Any other time they would be calling other folks out as being racist. I have never liked those comments and never will. Just because they choose not to be open in their dating preference beyond just POC does not mean they need to ridicule black leads who do.

***I also want to say a little side note here- that I saw a comment that stated that some POC are never happy because depending on the day or the action they would say neither Tayisha and Ivan are full black anyway. I know this happens a lot because my kids are bi-racial and very light skin white some Black people would tell my kids they weren't black enough depending on the circumstance. So yes it happens a lot for biracial people who are proud of their heritage, accepting both sides of their background, which I have raised my kids that way as well.

It seems to me that both Ivan and Tayisha are very proud of their mixed race heritage as well and do not exclude one parent over the other. Some POC dislike that about them because they just don't go with their "black side"/ JMO.

I watched an interview where Tayshia reiterated that she is proud of being mixed race and no side trumps the other.. this is how it should be.. i believe We (AA) should stop treating our own with disdain when they have a preference.. No one is a traitor for loving who ever they love.

I wholeheartedly agree with you as well 100%.

Brendan seems like a nice guy, but it looks like he never intended to get engaged. I’m sure he knew going in whether or not he would be ready for that again. They all want SM followers, but I don’t think it’s fair to the lead or other contestants to string the lead along and then ditch out near the end. Of course TPTB love and encourage this sort of drama. But, if you aren’t open to engagement, or at the least a serious relationship, then please don’t go on the show. It messes with the lead’s final relationship. jmo

Exactly... This is why I give Claire massive kudos for cutting the season short and not wasting the other guys time.. its ok to come on the show to gain followers but know when to bow out... I guess Brendan has been hinting that he isnt ready but he wasn't outspoken about it..

I agree, I feel the same about how Claire went about her decision after all she is 39 and she has been through relationships. She knew what she wanted, got the feeling in her gut and she knew exactly what her feelings were and went for it. No need to waste time when you know and if the guy feels the same way then go for it. Life is too short anyway and I don't blame Claire one bit cutting it short and leaving with her man. JMO

It's hard to say at this point. It could be at the FRC since we see him in a blue suit in the previews.
That's my guess.
