Zac and his Recovery Release partner opened their first facility in 2017 and 2 more in NY (specifically pricey real estate area Manhattan) in 2019. They have to have monied investors to do this in such a short a period of time and on this scale. An interview pre-show, I don’t recall which, referred to him as a businessman. I think he once worked directly with clients but now doesn’t . The Recovery Release website only lists him and his partner as co-founders, not in any other capacity.

Re the sneakers. IIRC @ReneeM sleuthed his interest in sneakers.

My son has the same interest. He keeps up with the latest releases, will stand in line for hours (hasn't for awhile) to be able to get the latest fad, that's only being released by a certain number. He'll keep them for several months - until their value increases then sells them on a certain website. Or if lucky enough he'll buy two, one for him and one to sell. Or sometimes he'll keep them. He enters draws to win the chance to "buy" them before the release.

When those opportunities comes up he makes family and friends sign up to enter a chance to win. One time I won. I had to go with him within 12 hours of receipt of the email, and buy them. On the way out a couple asked if he's going to keep them or sell them. I had no idea there was such a thing until he got into it several years ago. He claims it's my fault since I bought him his first pair of Air Jordans when he was 10. You'll never see him with a cheap pair of sneakers on.

I wonder if Zac does the same thing or if he just buy's them and keeps them.

Just saw Zac's mom's IG account which lists home as Short Hills, NJ. There are two (one is in Camden County and is a development there called Short Hills; the other in Essex County).

ETA to clarify that they may no longer live in Southern New Jersey.

Bachelor Zone Podcast had Lacey Mark from Nick’s season/BIP as a guest. She is originally from NJ but lives in NY. They were talking about how Ivan probably does well financially given his profession. One of the hosts mentioned Zac and how his income is likely ok. Lacey chimed in saying she has mutual friends with Zac but doesn’t know him. She only added “he does well” about his financial status.
Other tidbits: he is a little socially awkward and that he will continue on his current career path post-show.

I always tell my sons to do the work they enjoy, instead of chasing after a job that pays really, really well. It's far better to be happy than feel tied to your job. I don't care what any of these guys do for work, as long as they are honest and actually seem to work. But that said, I'm impressed with the mens' careers this season - thank you COVID.

@Norcalgal - Totally agree with you. I told each of my sons what you told yours. Fortunately it worked out well for both of them. No unhappy campers.
