TCA 2018: “Honeymoon Island” and “Happily Ever After” will premiere this fall

The second spinoff, “Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After,” will follow three past couples and chronicle their daily lives. The series will highlight Season 6 couple Shawniece and Jephte’s journey into parenthood. “Happily Ever After” has also received eight, one-hour episodes, and is also produced by Kinetic Content. Coelen, Detwiler, Simpson and Alex Cross will executive produce from Kinetic Content and McCarthy and Shura Davidson executive produce for Lifetime.

I created a new thread last night and just realized we already had one.

Bringing this over and I deleted the extra thread.

The second spinoff, Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After, follows the stories of successful couples from previous seasons of the original — including Shawniece and Jephte from season 6, and Ashley and Anthony from season 5. The first episode airs Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. ET.

The original Married at First Sight premiered in 2014 on FYI. It also has two other spinoffs, Married at First Sight: The First Year and Married at First Sight: Second Chances. Lifetime recently renewed Married at First Sight for an eighth season.

Maybe it is just me, I watched MAFS HEA and I felt that most of the conflict was manufactured. Sure, it always is but, I can't help but feel that especially in the case of S & J, that given they know the stress of a camera following you for weeks on end, that they would never have agreed to do this if they were really in trouble. n my mind the only wild card is the amount of $$$ they were given to do this, but even then, I have my doubts.

Maybe some of the drama is being retold now. If I am remembering correctly this forum covered the split speculation between J and S this summer. I hate seeing Shawneice sad. She is a sweetheart.
