Air Canada has reconfigured three Boeing 777-300 aircraft to accommodate cargo only operations. They removed 442 seats allowing double the cargo capacity. These aircraft will fly “critical medical & vital supplies to and across Canada.” pic.twitter.com/zIFGad2OkB

@Astrobach oops wrong thread.
Wow look at this! The more people that report, the more info will be showing.

Re: General Chit Chat - #2
All I know is my county is now up to 14 cases with 10 of them being female. 4 of the 10 are 50 or older. So I'm sticking close to home except for grocery and chiro runs.
The county health department gives ages and sex of confirmed cases but no other identifying information. They do indicate if they are hospitalized or self-isolating and whether the test was performed by a private lab or hospital. It is interesting though that there are 2 cases where the patients are in their 20's. One is only 21, the other 26. Pretty much every range is represented... 20's - 2, 30's - 1, 40's - 3, 50's - 3, 60's - 3 (1 death), 70's - 1 and 80's - 1. Youngest 21, oldest 82.
We went up 5 cases in 2 days so I'm expecting more since private labs are doing more testing now in my area.
Ohio has expanded the information they are putting on their website. https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/dashboards/key-metrics-cases/
Interesting stat is the number of health care workers that are infected in my state... 21%.
This video was shown in a press conference this week.
Edit to add this:
A new map on the John Hopkins website color coding the US by county:

@HavaDrPepper The scary statistic IMO is the 21% of health care workers infected. Who will take care of the sick, when the people charged to take care of them are sick themselves?
You could be the juiciest, most ripe peach, but there is still going to be someone who doesn't like peaches.

@Sprite
Exactly!
They started sharing that statistic March 24th. At that time is was at 16% (91 out of 564 cases). Since then it continues to go up.
I don't know if any other states are sharing that statistic but that is one that should be out there in the news constantly.

@Astrobach
I got sucked into checking out the statistics on individual counties last night as well. The status report infographics for each county has some interesting data on it. My county has 6 staffed beds, 131 licensed beds and 6 ICU beds in the small hospital (that is lovingly referred to as a "band aid station") in the town 7 miles from me. Thankfully, there are 2 regional hospitals 14 miles north of us which is probably where any hospitalizations from my county are.

@Norcalgal isnt' that nuts! I've seen a lot of pics around the world, with no people.
@HavaDrPepper thanks for all your stats. I read every post. I have to catch up on our stats. I know we had a few more deaths.
I mentioned before, Niagara Region is skimpy on details. Well now I notice in the obituaries they are starting to mention the cause of death. We lost a city counselor yesterday to Covid.
We have 11 cases of under 20 yrs old, 45 20-39, 61 40-59, 58 60-79 and 74 89+ and I believe 21 deaths. 250 cases. Population of Niagara Region around 500,000.
The province,
Ontario
Confirmed
7,049
Recovered
2,574
Deaths
274

Re: General Chit Chat - #2
Hello all! Hope everyone is hanging in there! Crazy times right now during this pandemic. We have been in lockdown for about a month now in Wisconsin. My husband is a rehab physician and he has been currently working from home, answering phone messages from the nurses and taking care of other issues remotely. Every seven weeks, he is on-call at the hospital and this coming weekend is his turn. He has to round on the patients both Saturday and Sunday. I am praying he remains safe and also myself and our kids too. Makes me a little nervous. Stay safe and we will get through this together!
