Anyone with half a brain could have seen that coming. Take note any future exes. Mommy Dearest will always be top priority.

You know there's a problem when an article about the breakup highlights the mom of a 29-year-old man. I have 2 sons and definitely stay out of their relationships. I hope Kelly finds a guy on the same page once she's ready.

As I always say~"There are 2 sides to the story and the truth lies somewhere in the middle." Not to defend either one of them, but I figure there were some "cold feet" involved in this major move. Someone may have wanted more of a commitment, someone may have realized that NYC is expensive and the lifestyle is not really what they wanted to commit to for a year lease. Kelley seems to have given up practicing law to being an influencer of some type. Peter is on hiatus as a pilot because he's low man on the totem pole and has been as close to furloughed without being permanently terminated. Maybe he'll fly again~some day. Their "travel dreams" have been seriously impacted by Covid~so they can't even rep cool places or venues to get the free travel perks. They seemed to be doing just fine with status quo and visiting each other in California, Chicago and Florida. Why add another "home base" to the mix? Kelley has been on her own for a long time, although always with or near family support. Peter doesn't appear to have lived on his own, except for the brief stint of college and flight school. How each of them approached and pursued the Bachelor/Bachelorette was most likely for the experience of exposure for whatever they wanted to "do next". They (each) need to figure out what they want. NYC is expensive to live in~the lifestyle is intense, it's not for everyone. Chicago and New York are both big cities, but there is a huge difference between the two. Chicago does sleep!

Kelley said that they were in "two different stages of their lives, and saw their future paths differently." That could point to a lot of things, but IMO boils down to they were on separate trajectories. It happens. It could be that one of them wanted marriage/kids sooner rather than later. I personally don't think Barb was much of a factor. This couple was constantly on the move; it was not like they were living in her pocket. And Kelley seemed to genuinely like her.

Please no Kelley. I think she would be another stiff lead who was very aware of her image. I didn't see much humour or playfulness from her during Peter's season and how she acted towards Madi at the AFTR with Peter's mother, made her a mean girl in my mind. A big fat NO!

Peter needs to grow up and untie the apron strings with Mama.

Peter’s career no doubt has been damaged by the pandemic, along with most airline employees. It’s a very uncertain time. NYC is very expensive on whatever income he may be earning ... I don’t know if he’s working to receive his salary or collecting unemployment. If he’s based in JFK, but back living with his parents in California, that’s a long commute, which is challenging (I speak from experience as a former flight attendant who commuted for many, many years).

Why Kelley would consider giving up her law career to become an influencer is beyond me! The younger generation doesn’t seem to have the same dedication as those of us who are older.

I personally wouldn’t date anyone who goes through multiple women in a relatively short period of time, and who has Mommy issues.

All just my own opinion, of course .....

The article says he's living in NYC. I checked his IG. He posted he's living in NYC and is glad to be focusing on his fitness and health. You need to move to NYC to do that? He's shilling a product. He's having a ball in Tampa. I cannot look at people going about their lives with no consideration to a pandemic so I didn't look any further in his IG.
