I keep going back from one to the other... but SHE has a red polish that is kind of chipped...Is her skin tone paler than Mary’s ? It feels like Mary’s fingers are less smooth maybe?

@Astrobach Yes I agree - it could be just that Sogand uses more filters but her skintone seems more even. The creases in Mary's palm seem more visible, if that makes sense?

@Bobette Yes, and I just examined the S/C  with the exchange of rings ( pale blue jacket with darker tone hand) and it’s really looking like Sogand’s hands...which leaves us with the darker skin tone one...???




Notice the skin smoothness and kind of discoloration ...near the border of the hand ?

When do we think filming finished? Sogand has an ig post on 29 Nov, which I think was in real time.

@Agent99 things got a bit muddy towards the end because several contestants were active on IG around the week of Nov 22-25 but a lot of the stuff they were posting seemed to be red herrings/throwbacks (eg Ciarran posted one at the gym but his hair and tatts didn't match up with more recent pics).  

Postings on the SM thread around here on covers the last few days of filming.  Renee was the last contestant to return at the very end of Nov and the show photographer was back by Dec 1 so I think that would mark the official end of filming.  Sogand being absent till Nov 29 would fit with her in the finale IMO.

Oh wow well spotted @Agent99!  

She's also in the background when Ciarran arrives, so she's part of the starter cast.  @GuardianAngel @Sprite (or anyone) do you recognise her?



ETA:  A possible clue!  Watch the video again and listen to the voice at 0.14 who says "who is that?"  Does anyone else detect a foreign accent?  

Surely every AU contestant would know who Ciarran is so perhaps it's the girl in yellow's voice asking who he is?  Or is it just Mary's voice?

@Bobette well spotted with the ‘ who is that’ from a woman’s voice... as you said EVERYONE knows who Ciarran is.. except someone who would be outside AU and I’m really trying to figure out WHO she is...
ETA it’s actually heard @.12 right after Abbie says ‘ Ciarran, Ciarran, Ciarran’. She sounds foreign and not even American. It’s only one quick sentence but it’s reminding me of a German - Dutch...? so anyone from South Africa? FRENCH? That would be a first? Are the Britain Bachelor or NZ Bachelor pools an option?

@Astrobach Yes you're right 0.12; it's 0.14 in the twitter video upthread. I've listened to it a few more times and I think the voice is probably Mary - she would know who Ciarran is of course but maybe just couldn't see him clearly from where she was?  

The girl could be an European, but they've never had an International as starter cast before - they usually bring them in after a week or so of the AU contestants dating each other to mix things up, so she might just be an AU girl from an old season?

ETA:  Wait, it's not Janey the Disney Princess from Richie's season, is it?  Nose and eyebrows don't look quite right but the SCs are blurry and she does have a banging bod like the girl in the pool.  Also large gap in IG posting during Nov.  Hmmmm...

ETAA:  HA!  I think it might be her!  She's got a fresh rose emoji on her profile page and is following many of the known girls - Mary, Jess B, Britt W, Abbie and Alisha (which definitely makes me think Alisha will be back in Paradise as previously speculated)

Follows are in chronological order on desktop so she followed Alisha right after Abbie - can't think of any reason for that unless she met them both at the same time.  If she'd followed them during their seasons Alisha would have been long before Abbie.

She's also followed the recent "hot" people from the US season - Tyler, Matt, Mike B... seems to me like someone re-associating themselves with the franchise.  And here we see Mary liking Janey's post from a day ago.  Members of the jury I rest my case.

Well spotted @Bobette and yet how random? I wonder what runs through TPTB tiny minds when they pull these really left field deep dives? Like, what puts Janey ahead of say Eliza from Richies season, or any one of the other early season oddballs?

I agree it's random but IMO her purpose there and what gives her the edge over other other past weirdos is that as a "pure and sweet" caricature she is the complete opposite of people like Ciarran and Abbie who are all OTT sex and nudity.  

It's no accident she's sandwiched between them in the pool there - the producers would have had a hand in that IMO.  And I can almost guarantee Janey will go on a date with Ciarran at some point, just like Abbie - TPTB love a good contrast.
