That's what happens when you make it the Barbara Weber show!  Anyone paying attention heard Peter say he was sorry they were late, because the had to talk, right? Glad that Chris H cleared that up.

That is my issue with Rachel. Always has been. Things can be OK for her/someone she loves to do but she then criticizes others that do the same thing. Hypocrisy at its finest. I just can't listen to this podcast because of Rachel. The only one I listened to was when Garrett and Bryan were on. I loved hearing the guy's perspective.

Just playing devil's advocate... what was Rachel's motivation for coming on the show? From what I remember, she wanted a career having to do with sports management or sports broadcasting instead of law. Well, looky at her. All kinds of gigs on ESPN/ESPN radio... which is owned by ABC. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I also read that Becca said she didn't have a publicist. I like Becca but dang, I thought she would be smart enough to hire someone especially after all the issues pertaining to Garrett's IG.

Although it is probably a good thing she hasn't hired Lori K (the publicist of choice in BN and for Madi) because she is a mess in her own right. She showed that today and I'm sure mom Weber will blame Madi even if Madi had nothing to do with it.

Exactly. If Madi went on the show just for popularity and followers she would've blasted Peter and right now she'd be being celebrated. As hard as some people find it to believe, Madi actually does love Peter. Is this not clear enough by now? IMO why else would you put yourself through turmoil and having a possible MIL like Barb unless you actually care about the guy. It's clear there's certain people in BN that have had this weird issue with Madi and why she came on the show. I'd assume she isn't the only one who has sought representation. All JMO.

I never knew Catholic homes to be that strict. Catholic parents hosted tons of those parties in their basements. That was my experience in Chicago. Peter’s party life sounds quite normal to me.

My Catholic relatives could party with the best of them! Although I'm not Catholic. Dad's family was raised with no religious preference (Mom Catholic, Dad nothing) so when the 13 children married, they usually ended up joining the religion of their spouse. Dad married a Methodist (and could party with the best of them) but his closest brothers all married Catholics. So I was exposed to Catholics all my life. When Dad's brother that he was closest to died (one of the Catholics), the family put 4 unopened beer cans in the casket to be buried with him. A beer for each child. The priest was with them when they did it When that same brother got married, Dad was the best man who had gotten very drunk the night before. The priest at that time gave Dad a bloody Mary before the wedding ceremony to sober him up. My uncle loved to tell that story about Dad.

Chris H. & Mills are TRASH. They're thrilled at the ratings & don't care about Peter or anyone else. I just hope this turns into a positive for Peter & he starts living his own life. Thank goodness he has a career he loves.

I may be stretching here, but I’m thinking that there was a private ‘talk’ from Peter to his mother and family, very recently,
to ‘ prepare ‘ them that he would be with Madison that night, and maybe not come back home after the AFTR but be with her instead. ( he is so naive and gullible). Who knows when and what was said, but my guess is that Barb did not appreciate that and used her crying and begging and manipulating to scare her boy from doing something so reprehensible...and was p / o that he would hold his own - the worse thing to do to a controlling person - and let’s just say it didn’t end well.
I’m just thinking there was probably a ‘ trigger’ that we don’t  know about and is kept private for obvious reasons, that sent this woman over the line in that extreme way. If she feels like she’s losing her ‘ grip’ on him emotionally and he is making choices that challenges her views or wishes, that is a reaction I would expect from her given what we have seen from her so far.
That is how the cycle of abuse continues, from threats and intimidation to instill fear and get the other ‘in line’, gaining control, verbal or emotional abuse, dramatic apology, and back again. She was clearly HOT and ready yesterday and her shooting hate at them was her very twisted way to regain some form of control.
It’s all together very disturbing and so sad to know how these comments and the intent behind them hurt and cause irreparable damages in the trust that exist between people. I do hope Peter and Madison seek or have professional help available for them to confide in and get support from. This has gone on for so long, it’s almost comfortable for Peter, except now he is GROWING up and away from these toxic behaviors. Let’s hope he is able to stay centered and determined.

Becca probably thinks she IS a publicist because of her former job which was quasi PR if I remember correctly. I do agree she should get some help with Garrett’s image because from where I sit, she’s working her buns off and he and the dog are just hanging out, making occasional airport runs to drop her off and pick her up, posing for selfies and adding additional expense to her bottom line. I know he shows up a couple places with a gun or a fishing pole but, Becca is one hard-working, multi-tasking, gorgeous girl and I was glad to hear her say she’s not planning a wedding right now. All IMO.

Yes, we Catholics love our wine But seriously, I was raised Catholic and my family, all of my family were anything but strict.

Its a little bit sad that a guy nearing the end of his twenties till needs to party . Most of us get that out of our system in our early twenties. I do hope peter grows up and moves out his controlling mothers house.

IMO what triggered Barb was a few thousand SM comments criticizing her absurdly stupid and classless behavior on Monday nite. She made reference to that on Tuesday and had her little posse there to support her ignorant TV tirade #2 on Tuesday. All IMO.
