Overseas travel is rare in the AU franchise except for the FDs/FRC, and our last Bette didn't even leave NSW (where the mansion is).  It really didn't make a difference and IMO her FRC location was one of the best we've seen.  

A local season showcasing the variety of US locations could be a bonus for US tourism, and think of the money they'll save!  Plus sleuthing will be easier I imagine, since the locations will be more easily identifiable by US members.

I'm sorry but there is an article posted above that states this virus is going to be affecting the filming of the season. IMO it is very relevant to discuss it as I said in my post, the restrictions being put in place may very well affect the production.

As if this pandemic wasn't enough of a nightmare for production, I live in LA and the weather is grim. It's going to rain all day tomorrow and this week. Poor Clare.

I haven’t heard anything in regards to them canceling the start of “Bachelorette” filming tmrw night. So it looks like it’s still a go. Here’s some of the guys at the Hyatt Regency in Westlake, CA earlier today.

I am not sure.  Maybe, I need to double check that, because people were mentioning it would mean BIP would have to be cancelled.

60 days was not mentioned in anything that I saw.

BIP being cancelled was all IMO in my post. I just don't see how they can film both at the same time (CH needed for both) and with this delay, it is my opinion that the filming of Clare's season would go into normal BIP filming timeframe.

It IS MY OPINION that ABC's summer programming schedule is going to be really messed up this year!
