Originally from the UK, Dom moved over to New Zealand with his family.

Having not watched any of the Bachelor franchises, he’s not sure about what he’s getting into and excited about that prospect of the unknown!

Looking for something serious, Dom is hoping our Bachelorette has the qualities he’s after – compassion and understanding.

Why did you apply for The Bachelorette New Zealand?

I’ve been single for two years, I’ve been travelling the world on a journey of self-discovery and I’ve settled back into Auckland and have realised I’m ready for a serious relationship with someone. I’m willing to commit to someone – I’ve got a lot to give, and if I don’t have someone to give to, I feel a bit lost.

What will your friends and family say when they find out you are on the show?

My dad will think it’s quite funny, and mum will love it!

Tell us about your dating history:

I’m only 21, so it’s a bit minimal. I’ve had a couple of serious relationships through high school – one that was about three years – and one for a year and a half when I was about 18 or 19.

Who’s your celebrity crush?

Emilia Clarke. Everything about that girl is amazing. I know she’s about 35, but I’d still marry her!

Fun fact:

I’ve never vomited from being drunk. And I’ve been very drunk!

What do you want to get out of this experience?

To enjoy the experience, but I wouldn’t be coming on the show if I wasn’t looking for a serious relationship with, hopefully, the Bachelorette, if she chooses me.
