Bachelor 24 - Peter Weber - Jan 6th - Discussion - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

I just don’t see an insecure low self esteem girl on this many shows and aiming for more. JMO She’s developed a relatable insecure girl brand when she’s probably more popular girl, queen B . I reiterate I think she was genuine in looking for a partner, but she’s even more interested in an entertainment career, which is why she’s ok crying and being vulnerable on camera and doing other stunts the average woman wouldn’t do. JMO I’m sure she’s been embarrassed but IMO she’d do it all over again. her showing up at the windmill showed me she’s really not that bothered by all of this. JMO Also looks like she is back buddy buddy with the producers. JMO

I think peters the same way except I don’t even think he’s looking for a long term partner. I don’t think there’s anything genuine about his act. JMO

I see their tears and I feel...nothing

Edit: I still think peter is with Madi but I expect that to go the way of Whitney and Chris S

I totally agree with the first bolded part. And that's why I think the second bolded part. There's no way he's 100% serious about finding a wife at all costs. If he's with Madi/chooses Madi, it'll peter out (haha, pun intended). She's presumably very serious about finding a husband because of her beliefs; I just don't think that's Peter. I think Peter is the kind of guy who will play the field for years to come before settling down. I don't think his lifestyle is compatible with hers in any way.

IA. I think peter will choose her not because he feels she’s the one but because she’s the best look for him. I think peter is smart and will know all the right things to say in interviews and after the final rose but it will be hot air. He just has a layer of sleaze to him. All JMO

Windmill pilot falls for beautiful virgin and is willing to fight for her and wait for her. How romantic! What a beautiful story! What an amazing man! Please... JMO

This is what I have been saying. He is all about the optics. I think he really wanted Victoria, but after everything kept piling up about her behaviour, there was no way he was going to the end with her.    A Christian, virgin on the other hand is perfect optical wifey material. Easy enough to break off after the requisite few months. "Long distance, work schedule, blah, blah, blah, just too much to overcome. We respect one another and will remain friends. Please only positive thoughts."

Nope, wasn't born in LA.  Was born in Virginia.

As for his "acting" career, he has been in 4 things... 3 of which I have never even heard of.  His only notable acting job was when he was 12 years old and it was 1 episode where he played a younger version of a main character in a flashback.  And, IMO, it was probably his mother that signed him up for the roles when he was young after they moved to LA.

Now I'm not a fan of Peter's but to label him as a wannabe actor is a little much.  He went to college then pursued a career as a pilot which he is still doing to this day.  His dream was to fly commercial jets like his father, why would he throw away flying with a major airline to become an actor?  He has had opportunities outside of flying that he has chosen to pursue but I really don't see him giving up that pilot life.  You might say it is in his blood.

I agree! He is one of the few contestants from last season that went back to work and is not verified on SM, none of that point to me to someone whose first priority is to be famous. Most other contestants were verified right away and few have gone back to work. All IMO.

...and I can't even fathom why Peter entertained this while being the Bachelor. Any woman watching that interaction should really see herself out of that relationship for her own self-respect.

I am just still over here going SMH. Everyone knew her real F2 were Jed and Luke ( ) but then she went after Tyler and is now basically saying wait Peter you were my real F2. It's embarrassing IMO

This isn’t new information though. Hannah told Peter at the ATFR that she was sure he would have met her parents. I think how things in the fantasy suite went is probably a clear indication that she was thinking he would be in her final two. 

Hannah told us that the fantasy suite changed her relationship with Tyler. She viewed him differently and realized she had her guard up with him for no reason. That is when it went from Jed and Peter to Jed and Tyler. She basically told us all of this. This isn’t some new, groundbreaking information that proves she was trying to get Peter back. She was telling the truth. Tyler made his way to the end at the very end. 

Chris Harrison has already said in a recent interview that this conversation was about closure and letting everything out. Peter said today on GMA that both he and Hannah are in a good spot. They’ve clearly become friendly per their social media. All’s well that ends well.

I don’t understand: if Madi, who by all accounts that I’ve seen here and on sm, has strong Christian faith, why would she go on a show like The bachelor to find a husband?

Don't most contestants go on the show for the experience and exposure not with the intent to be the F1? JMO
