I honestly can understand why she didn't.  The show has not been very kind with the edit of some of those that were virgins.  It became the main focal point of their "story".  IMO Madison didn't want that to be what she was about and I don't blame her.

I don't get why Peter says he wishes she said it earlier. I mean, what difference does it make unless he told them he didn't want a virgin?

Peter has said that had he known Madi was saving herself for marriage, he would have understood the "gravity" of him choosing to be intimate with the other women. I think from Peter's perspective, even after the windmill, he knew Hannah B. was likely going to sleep with at least Jed. I'm sure it bothered him a lot at the time, but he felt like she had the right to do what she needed to do to be sure of her decision & that he'd find a way to get past it if she chose him. Despite Madi's words to him in the hanger, I think he thought that if it was Madi in the end, they'd get past him being intimate with someone else. In that dinner conversation, when she tells him that she's saving herself, he seems to realize immediately that what he's done will have left a lot bigger gash in Madi's heart than he ever expected.

@HavaDrPepper i’m sorry but this is confusing me more. Is the issue that she did not use the word virgin or is the issue of when she told him?  People keep referring to the virgin soundbite. To me the virgin soundbite and the saving myself for marriage soundbite are the same soundbite. What may be an issue, and I am not saying that it is because I have no horse in this race, is when she told him she was a virgin/saving herself, and when she told him how she felt about him.  There are threads here about the frustration that production had with Madi because she didn’t give them the virgin soundbite. I’m just trying to confirm is it the fact that she didn’t use the word virgin, Or that she didn’t tell them when they wanted her to tell them?  I’m sorry I understand it’s frustrating dealing with somebody who just can’t bring themselves to watch this train wreck. But if we could just clarify what the issue is it would be great.  Thank you.

@Emeralds thank you I think you explained my question. It’s the timing of when she told him that she was saving herself that is being called into question by production it seems.

IMO it was because she never used the word "VIRGIN".

TPTB wanted her to. She didn't.  Since she didn't they couldn't make her the girl with the virgin storyline which IMO they had slated her for.  She didn't give them that soundbite to use against her.

@mbl, I think production pressured Madi to reveal that she was waiting for marriage much earlier than she did. I think they wanted her telling Peter on film for storyline purposes (the virgin & the windmill guy). I think Madi wanted to tell Peter in private in the FS because, with this show, being a virgin usually becomes one's entire identity. I also think Madi's decision is for her personal relationship with God & it's not a badge of honor she wears so she didn't feel the need to tell the world. Production was angry & now claim they had to have her spend FSW with the two other women to "force" her to reveal her convictions. I have no doubt at all that it only forced her to reveal it on their timeline (on camera) rather than her own.

@Emeralds Yes, and when I think about it too, it’s making it moreover obvious with the contrast between Victoria, the seductress, physical edit, ( ‘whore’ symbol or archetype) and the Virgin. Classic and old patriarchal categorization for women. The fact is maybe Madi is NOT a virgin and she has, like Sean Lowe, made a decision to save herself for marriage. No matter what, these scripted narratives are the direction they are ‘ proudly’ focusing on, under the guise of women empowerment. Which is such a sick cover for their real agenda, which ends up being the OPPOSITE of anybody’s empowerment.

That's interesting, because I noticed Madi's mom started following that Churchome on twitter  yesterday. She is a Justin Bieber fan like her daughter though.

I really think the clues are adding up for Madi as final 1.   I think everyone is so use to RS spoiling the seasons early and with this one, he only recently did and wasn’t 100%.   On Monday he will have more info because he sees the advance copy and can cross check some of the info given him by his sources.  I think this will make him more confident on coming out with a more definite choice.  

Definitely need to pay attention to the feet this weekend.  Although I think the People shoot was prob already done last weekend due to scheduling conflicts.  I for one will be watching to see if Madi is at the game.

If Hannah is the one he chose what do you think is going on in her mind watching this season back and seeing just how into Madi he was? If I were her I would dump his azz (I wouldnt be surprised if they both did). He just isn't ready for a commitment like this.

I have a lot of doubts that Hannah Ann would be allowed to openly talk about moving to LA if she was moving for peter.... plus when would she and peter even have time to do the people’s shoot? She’s been tracked every day for like 2 weeks and not in LA
