YES!  That’s why I wrote it in my earlier post, replacing the names...
CH had said, ‘ you’re gonna love Jed’, plus  something like ‘an all around good guy’
This was in an interview where he was asked who to watch for, can’t remember which now.

Anyone else noticed that Pete’s eyes are really red or pink... so either
1. He was verrrry tired when they filmed this
2. Or he has Rrrrrreeallly bad allergies or had a cold
3. Or, he is stone or drunk...
OR
4. Very weird photoshop job...
All in all, he doesn’t look well or normal.

No, I don’t think CH would have risked his reputation on saying something that could be misinterpreted. That’s one reason why I think TPTB had NO CLUE what the Jed’s girlfriend status was as it was uncovered much later on in the game.
( and NOT by them...) The tone certainly changed in the edit to back that up too.
