Also back....the NZ Bettes and review from yesterday.

Cocktail party and Steve is with Lesina still regretting not making his move. She laughed in his face. He thinks there is chemistry. Honey if there was, she wouldn't be laughing. She doesn't like being pushed and they are questioning if they are in the friend zone  because they are so comfortable. This is awkward. He tells her to do what is comfortable...no kissing here. Shot down and off with his tail between his legs. Ooops.

Lily is with the other guys and they are bringing it. She appreciates seeing that softer side from them. She asks if Aaron has spoken to Lesina and hints to Jesse that he needs to speak to Lily.

Art and the ladies debating the guys. Lily is a happy camper with romantic Quinn who has a rose. Liam and Richie also have roses. Lesina thinks that Michael and her have very different life styles. She brings up the awkwardness with Steve. Lily is unsure of Terrance.

Let's cut to the chase....seven roses still to give out.

RC...Aaron is uneasy. He wants to feel special and wants to feel wanted. Mike and Logan feel more comfortable. One is going home.

It's getting harder and hard to make decisions...

Lesina...Logan, Mike, Aaron, Michael


Lily...Elliot, Terrence, Jesse

The guys shocked...particularly Quinn because Steve a good mate. Michael is disappointed that some of the guys weren't happy.

Steve is ok because he would rather know if there was no chemistry. He was sure he was going home...he's just not sure she did.

Mike has a date today. Aaron was pissed because he was hoping it was Michael...he knows she is not interested in Michael.

They are going off roading and she takes the wheel. They then switch and for once she let's him take the control. She thinks she is the better driver.

Guys are discussing what happened with Steve. They realize that Lesina and Steve must have come to a mutual agreement because he seemed ok with leaving. They are then speculating about what Mike and Lesina are doing. Aaron feels threatened by Mike because he is such a good looking guy that seems to be her usual type and would be someone that could make most women happy...and clearly Lesina is one of those!

They go for a walk and they talk about the walls he has build up after his marriage ended. He says he is more comfortable now than he was when he first arrived. She realizes that she has misjudged him. What she first thought was arrogance is just quiet confidence because is comfortable sitting back and not being the center of attention. She asks him if he wants to get married again and he says yes, but he wouldn't want to rush it and make another mistake. She tells us that she would like to get married at some point in her life, but doesn't sound in a rush either.

Bingo. I've been waiting for that story arc. Here comes the "slow burner" (that never wins )

Guys occupying themselves with some synchronized swimming. Speculating who is going on a date with Lily and it turns out to be Terrence.

Quinn is gossiping with Aaron about Liam and how he wanted to leave. They think he may be a game player...while Liam is off photographing the scenery.
Not here for the right reasons....

Terrence arrives to go horseback riding with Lily. She wants to give him the chance to open up. Sounds like a last chance. She likes that he is willing to give anything a go. He thinks that he has to be fun and finds it hard to open up in a fix me kind of way???

Lily is riding around and Terrence is stuck with his horse. Finally his horse moves and hers is not following direction. She is feeling more relaxed with the horse and the process. That is deep.

Elliot is back at the house making a rabbit trap. He wants to find the right woman and wants another full date with Lily.

Back to Lesina and Mike for some drinks in front of the fire. Her questions got him thinking a lot and he isn't feeling super comfortable. He says it isn't just one thing, it's a bunch of things. He says he feels rushed and forced into something...to feel a certain way about her. He is wondering if he let's her in he is opening himself up to feelings he has been avoiding. She is looking very down listening to this. Come on Mike, turn it around. You like her and she clearly is into you...as are apparently many women and even some men...like your roommates!

The hunt continues for the rabbit. Meanwhile Richie and Quinn are getting musical for Lily...and we get a recap for previous musical performances.

Lesina reassures Mike that she is under pressure too and doesn't want to force anyone. She doesn't know what she is really looking for other than just a connection. She sees both of them letting their walls down and it is nice. He is very happy about this and thinks they could end with a connection and not surprisingly...he gets a rose and a hot make out!!!

Lily and Terrence settle down by some water and start talking about his walls...which are in life in general, but particularly with women. She starts preaching about men needing to open up for their mental health. He feels he needs to fake happiness and if he does it long enough he will feel it. Fake it till you make it.

Lily appreciates how far Terrence has come in opening up, but is not sure it is far enough.

Next Sunday...shockingly more drama from the guys. Some feel someone is not there for the right reasons (I'm assuming it's Liam again). Aaron tattles and Lily does not support disrespecting other women....

Thank you for recapping @Sprite.  I'll join back in when I'm up to date (one episode down - three to go!)

So far the only noteworthy thing I noticed during episode 17 was the fact that Richie had ITMs wearing four different outfits. I might upload them to the SC thread for future reference - a clear sign he goes far IMO.

Lesina is cutting them all off rather early, IMO Steve was rather boring and not at her level, but she only has Logan, Aaron, Mike and Michael left, and she's made it clear that Aaron is the only one really getting her attention. She hasn't really given anyone much of a chance.
And so Lily's show continues . . . .
