Rachael and Vakoo said in their interviews on Kyle and Jackie O that they had that night more than once and some of them were drinking. So a lot of the girls were apart of it.

@Idlemess yeah Kyle is gross.   I don't know how Jackie puts up with it.  He does ask the questions no one else would dare though so some times his lack of filter is a bonus.  

@Norcalgal IIRC it was either Vakoo's idea or she was the one who talked about it first.  IMO there was a lot of Chelsie we didn't see on the show (so to speak   )

He really is a gross old perv.  He sometimes crosses the line (but that's why Jackie is there to moderate the effect, I think).

Game changing new details have emerged about Matt and Abbie's raunchy beach date

Thousands of Australian viewers threatened to turn off their televisions when Matt Agnew and Abbie Chatfield were filmed dry humping on a secluded beach during their final single date on The Bachelor.

At the time, it looked as though the property analyst was the one to instigate the softcore porn session seeing as she declared she was "horny"  and desperately wanted to sleep with this year's hunky Bachelor.

However, since the explosive season wrapped and Matt found the woman of his dreams, Chelsie McLeod, shocking new behind-the-scenes details have emerged about that raunchy date... and they completely change the narrative.

An on-set spy has just revealed that Network 10 producers heavily edited the jaw-dropping scene to portray Abbie as the more sexually promiscuous of the two when in reality, the astrophysicist was equally as keen to go ahead.

According to the Mail Online, Matt was actually the first to suggest that he wanted to have sex with the 23-year-old, but his side of the conversation did not make it to our screens.

It is believed the producers intentionally wiped his remarks in an attempt to reinforce her controversial portrayal. Basically, it was a clever tactic to make her look far more interested in 32-year-old than he was in her.

@bobette Abbie is undoubtedly a very beautiful girl and quite honestly none of her clothing was provocative at all. It’s true that she was made to be the villainous seductress by the edits (which focused on her sexual chemistry w/Matt rather than their emotional or intellectual connection) which is unfortunate as there’s no doubt that this existed and she’s a smart cookie. The sexual chemistry btwn Matt and Chelsie was there too but hidden for the sake of “interesting” storylines. No she shouldn’t change her love language at all but the edits had a big part to do why she ended up getting bullied and sl*t shamed imo.

In regards to manipulation through her words which a lot of the other girls complained about .. that side to me is more believable and the issue that a lot of viewers had. Someone way upthread said that she’s immature at best or a narcissist at worst, and I’m of the same opinion. People with personality disorders are incapable of self reflection or criticism (I’ve had personal experiences of people like this) and it’s basically always someone else’s fault ... So her behaviour makes me question, on which end of the scale she sits on. It’ll be interesting to see what her edit will be on BIP (which I’m v unlikely to watch ..) that’ll probably be a much more truthful representation of who she is.

Past few years, production had allowed bullies .. mean girls .. into the show and Abbie is definitely not. Considering so many young girls watch this show, I’d much rather they have Abbie as a role model (as a sexually confident young woman) than any of the mean girls who bullied other girls. More love, not hate!!!

I'm not sure if it has been said here before but I've just seen that the age minium for next season is 25 when applying online. I wonder if they have an older bachie in mind (35+?) Or BPT are being vigilant...

Yeah I think they're probably just sick of wrangling bratty 22 year olds who have unrealistic expectations of what being on the show is like.

The thing I find more interesting is that they have the start date for filming as late May.  Usually Bach starts filming early March...
