CP - Jamie on cloud nine, thinks he made excellent impression with parents, expects to get first rose lala.

Boys discussing bits of the day, Ciarran admits to Jamie that he told the parents to steer clear of Jamie and explains why in a frank but not brutal way. Jamie interprets that as he needs to grab Angie to show her why she should be with him.

Angie wants to know why the boys have said she should avoid Jamie. Jamie grabs her as soon as she arrives. She tells him what happened and that the boys said she should avoid him and why does he think they said that - he said because they think he's a stage five clinger/needy, he thinks it's partially true, but it's because he cares too much (paraphrasing). They talk about it some more. Jamie says he's one of 'like three genuine guys here' - Angie obviously wants to know who isn't genuine, but he won't say, Angie's gets really peeved. Goes in circles. Ciarran interrupts and Angie lets him. Jamie worried (to camera).

Yes. Carlin is too good to be true.

RC - Ciarran has rose from date already. His eyes are super red and watery?? Anyone else see that??

In the preview, who did Angie sent home?

Carlin called first. Angie smiles and laughs a bit while they hug (maybe he said something quietly?) and much better eye contact this time! She seems much happier overall compared to last night's.
Ryan, Timm, Haydn, Alex, Jackson, Matt, Jamie get roses - Bye bye Glen.
Jamie says 'I'm not going to be a sucker for this bro code', people are going down -comical drama music playing)

Next ep preview - Jamie 'turns' on the boys and starts 'ratting' on them to Angie. Osher: "Someone's sent packing and emotions run wild" - Angie crying in the halter sequin dress. Various boys saying 'the business' is hitting the fan/blowing up. Ciarran is getting riled up saying 'I'm over it, I'm out of here' walking off and taking his jacket off.

So much drama in the preview for next week!

Marriages start with great expectations and hope for a future. Sadly, it doesn't always end that way. Carlin didn't speak out against his ex, he said he was hurt.

When did I say I thought the ending of his marriage was his fault?  I don't recall saying that.  All I said was that just because he comes across as a "normal, nice, genuine bloke you want to settle and have kids [with]", that doesn't mean he is.

Also, when did Angie's parents say that's what they wanted for her anyway?  I haven't watched the ep yet but from the clip, they said "if you want to settle" etc, choose Carlin but "if you want to travel and have kids at 40, then pick old mate Ciarran".

Angie has been quite vocal in interviews about the fact that she doesn't want to get married and settle down.  I don't see how it can be assumed that's "what every parent wants" for their daughter, when Angie herself has said it's not what she's looking for.

I said it from observations, most parents want their children to settle down with nice, genuine people, that’s it

maybe it’s my pink glasses, but i will not just assume he probably isnt as nice as i think, because i have no reason/evidence to think dofferently than i do right now
