Production was right there. They could have challenged her win if they wanted. IMO they wanted her to win and having the alone time with Peter because they knew it would cause friction with the other girls because of them having met previously. The whole thing with it being at the same hotel was a godsend to production. No doubt in my mind they knew what hotel they had met at before hand and they ran with it putting her on that date.
