Oh well, good on her for moving on with her life and not hanging round for the call up, they'll have to find another faux villain to be redeemed.... oh wait, they've already got Abbie to fill that role!

Just had a thought.  If filming starts soon that probably means Timm won't be there because it would give away the ending of Angie's season.  And if Ciarran's back with Renee, that presumably counts him out to.  Damn.  They were the two I most wanted to see.  

I wonder if they might delay filming till after Angie's finale?  They really need Timm there IMO to prevent it being a complete snoozefest.  Matty might not be there either if he doesn't hurry up and dump that MAFS chick.  Urrghhhhh I was really hoping for a good S3.

@Bobette I hear that loud and clear... season 2 was a fiasco and they NEED a more hopeful one this time around... And about Timm...as far as I know they keep bringing in people even until a few days before the end... maybe they could have Timm show up and cause mega drama for ‘ established’ relationships that would be in jeopardy after he comes in... so he may not be the first arrival but a week later ??? If he wants the gig, I would think that TPTB will find a way to include him. And sorry about Ciarran... that would be so entertaining but if he’s actually happy with René, good in him!

Mango Bay Resort is solidly booked from now through till mid December, does Channel 10 have the cash to book out an entire resort for 6 weeks? And I’m sure they don’t film for 6 weeks, so maybe filming is starting later, then running through to mid December?

@Dirty Street Pie Could it be reserved for another show? Isn’t Love Island also shot in Fiji? Probably not the same resort though...

@Astrobach I feel like this could be a make or break season and they need to lift their game IMO.  Timm could carry the whole show, they really need him there.  Not sure if you've seen behind the scenes extras on Tenplay but they do little segments with the boys on the couches in groups and Timm absolutely owns it - he's just ON all the time (would be exhausting IRL but makes for good telly IMO ).  

Some of the other guys were so dry, you could hear the crickets during their segments.  For something like Paradise where there's a lot of loafing around doing nothing you need someone like Timm to lift the energy IMO.  Bringing him in late would be a bit of a waste, and I think he'd be high on the girls' hit lists.  I might check the resort bookings again for any changes... Re: Ciarran, I was kind of hoping it wouldn't get out about him and Renee being back together so they could get back together in Paradise.  Sounds silly I know but I'd find that more "realistic" to watch since there are established emotions there, as opposed to watching others just hook up for the sake of extra airtime, IYKWIM?  But yeah if they're happy out of the limelight then good on them.

@Astrobach Yeah I thought that might be the case - what a shame!  I love the BTS bits - they really showcase the personalities in the house. Let's just say it's clear why there are only 2-3 guys on Angie's season doing narration and getting airtime IMO.

That said, I think Alex has been under-utilised - he's pretty funny and high energy so I hope he's in Paradise. And Jackson is way more of a Lad that he comes across on the show IMO - he'll be in his element on an island with booze and scantily clad chicks.

@Bobette YEP! even without the fun BTS you guys see, it’s pretty obvious to me that the show would be real flat without these fun few guys ... and of course Carlin cannot compete with this...hence the 2% comment from Ivie... maybe without the contrast of Timm and Ciarran around, he is almost 10 % funnier...

@Astrobach After watching the BTS clips, I actually think 2% might have been generous but LET'S NOT GO THERE!

TPTB have been pretty good at shutting down pap leaks the past 2 seasons, maybe then can just buy up all the pics of Timm in Paradise so it doesn't get out that he's been cast?  I'm willing to start a GoFundMe page to raise the ransom if necessary.  

@Bobette ImIN ! Seriously, I would LOVE to see Timm longer and in the more relaxed format of Paradise... and wonder what kind of girl would suit him. He looks like a very tender guy and loyal too. Do you see Kirsten with his type?

OMG Timm and Kristen would be NUTS.  They're both a bit loopy IMO but in very different ways - it could either go well or be a complete disaster.  Sounds like good TV to me!  I get the impression he's been around a bit so would need a unique girl IMO to keep his attention.

I'd actually like to see him take on Lily from Bach NZ season 3.  Did you watch it?  She's WILD.  My all time favourite contestant.  She hooked up with Courtney (from Georgia's season) on Bach Winter Games and lasted about a year but in the end he couldn't keep up with her.  

Timm would have his hands full and I think he'd love it.  They'll need some Internationals and they don't have to be from the US.  Just planting some seeds.... :halo:
