Somewhere on here I read that Peter attended Baylor U. If so, his understanding of Madi's world/faith is much more nuanced than we might imagine. Yes, he had turned his back, but when he talked about his faith being dormant, I think he understood what she was talking about. Still, he totally missed Madi's parents (Dad shown during the episode and mom on the deleted scene) referring to Madi's purity and what, exactly that might mean. Which is why he was a bit blindsided by "saving myself for marriage". IMO, Madi was his choice, that even if the FRC had occurred there would not have been an engagement because Peter would know that Madi wouldn't accept so quickly after he'd been intimate with another. As far as Peter not knowing the ending? I think that it means that there has not yet been a proposal.... and maybe or maybe not there will be one. IMO, in the 4 months since Alice Springs, there's been a lot of conversation. And not just between Madi (assuming Peter is dating her) and Peter, but also between Peter and Madi's father (who he would clearly need to win over).

I suspect that now that Peter’s season has aired, he has successfully UN-won Madi’s dad over. All IMO.

I know the average viewer dosen't realize what goes on with this show. If he spent time with her and her family while the show was airing don't you think he explained to them how the show works, get edited, voice overs ,and how manipulative the producers are ?

@Jolena IA not only that, did they not know how the show works when their daughter applied to be on? I'm sure she talked it over with them.

That may be the case. But given how gullible and naive Peter seems to STILL be about production, CH etc... I doubt that it explains away little things like...his choices of women he actually KEPT around, some of his own words to the other girls, ( basically saying the same lovey words to many of them) not really hearing Madison’s concern around FS, stringing along another few women for the sake of drama...etc... time will tell and his actions better be representative of a more mature mate for their daughter.
They have a strong wind against them and as Madison said, the world against them. Sometimes that is what unite people to become stronger and prove themselves to each other. Only a few more hours before we get an idea on where it’s heading.

IMO TPTB made him keep certain girls around (especially Victoria) . Many repeated words that seemed like they were said to certain girls were voice overs & imo meant for Madison. When he on the beach with Hannah and he said "How crazy I am for you" those words were said to Madison and you saw them come out of his mouth with Madison.So they duplicate too. The count down begins.

@Jolena I wish I could agree with you about Victoria.... unfortunately I’m not so sure it’s ALL on production. He had a choice, at several key moments, to let her go and yet always gave her ‘ another chance’...he couldn’t deny his curiosity and physical appeal, and he felt good stroking her ego when she acted her fake doubts out, which perpetuated her manipulation cycle. He enjoys the chase.
Production just used her as bait to confuse him more and have her contrast with Madi ‘ the Virgin”. IMO The way he has been defending her and speaking about her after the show, worries me about his sense of discernment. ( and morals)

And if my memory is not too full of holes, I remember SEEING Pater saying some of these same words to Kelsey, Hannah A and maybe others...it got so repetitive, like a bad script that is learned. Bingo!

For story line purposes, the lead is always equally torn over his/her F1 & F2 until the 11th hour when he/she magically gets 'clarity'. I assume Madi's parents understand that facet of the show. I seem to recall Colton telling each of his F4 that he was falling in love with them & asking each father for permission to marry his daughter. It was a bit cringe-worthy, but Colton's story line was that he was determined to get engaged (until he wasn't, ). I thought Peter's reaction at FS dinner & at the F3RC made it clear as day how in love he is with Madi much more than any words ever could. JMO.

Is there any way to find out if there were any filming permits or whatever they are called after filing in Nov?
I think HS Dad would be harder to win over than Chad.  Chad seemed way more open than HS Dad.

@Emeralds I agree with you about Peter being in love with Madi...completely.

Actions speak louder than words and can love conquer all? are stand out statements from Madison.
Something that has been on my mind...
In the RC this week, when he gave his FR to Madison, she conveyed her disappointment in him. It was apparent to ALL. If roles were reversed, would we not think this was a passive aggressive way of shaming? Clearly her feelings at the time were conveyed....either disappointment or anger. (I am NOT saying she did not have the right to her feelings). I just did not like that moment. What if HA's tears coming from a place of also receiving the feeling of disappointment or anger? (just a thought) However it was... I think this is the first time in my Bach history that I feel like the lead has lost the power of his choice in his relationship with who( imo )his F1 is.

If HA were his choice, he would not say that he wished he had known Madi's convictions before week 9. RE: interview with Rachel... JMO

I do think Madi is his F1. IMO the story continues he has had to do a lot of soul searching to keep her. I think she agreed to try, but IMO it has been on and off this entire season. At the end of the day, I just doing see it having been worked out. If it has worked out we will see a FR on stage at AFR. If it has not, it won't be there. They may be continuing the work.
I know that GOOD will come from the experience for all. I just don't like the feeling that I have that Peter may have to prove himself worthy of her. Maybe he has work to do for himself, but he came in to his season leaving a clear picture of who he is/was.
They don't know the ending...?
