Going thru threads didn’t see mention of this sweet moment....On Reddit someone has posted a AFR gif capturing interaction between them - after Hannah asked him out for drinks. She leans in and he leans toward her - and appears to be about to give her a kiss. He realized - pulled back and looks a little embarrassed. Explains what the “he was uncomfortable and put on the spot” sayers thought they were seeing.

Since this is commented about here I'll post my comments here as well. I looked Source = ABC Website at the S15 E13 Season Finale, Part 2 segment and landed on something a little different. Here's my SC of the moment that Tyler leaned towards Hannah:


I sort of see this moment as a variation on a moment I posted in another forum. The narrative in that post was:

CH - how does it feel for you to be back here and see her - notice how they have really leaned in towards each other - CH's words triggered this!


I think this isn't exactly leaning in for a kiss but rather Tyler is leaning in to be emotionally closer to Hannah but Hannah just got out of sync with Tyler and leaned away at the wrong time - otherwise this might have been a moment more like the earlier one.

But in watching this I noted both Hannah and Tyler doing "things" with their lips. Here's Hannah:


and here's Tyler:


Hannah is sort of pursing her lips, and Tyler is running his tongue across his teeth behind closed lips - so slightly different reactions but IMO both meaning something similar. Here are two sources that address possible meanings of this:

Source 1

A light puckering of the lips into a kiss shape typically indicates desire. It can also indicate uncertainty, particularly if the lips are touched with the fingers.

Source 2

Pushed in front of the teeth, pushing out the lips, can also indicate uncertainty.

The narrative for these last two SCs was they happened just before Hannah said "maybe we could go for a drink and just hang out". The description from the Reddit poster who attended the live ATFR Part 2 said that in that moment she felt that neither Hannah nor Tyler were quite prepared for it and I would tend to agree with that. They both showed a degree of uncertainty - not about actually going for the drink but rather about how this was all supposed to be played out on camera. The "read" of Hannah is, IMO, a combination of desire with a dash of uncertainty, and Tyler seemed to not fully know what Hannah was going to say (but she had already said that she was a single girl) and was therefore more uncertainty - with a dash of desire.

If Hannah & Tyler workout, this season is gonna be the the gold standard against which all seasons are judged forever imo. It had everything- a villain that was vanquished in the last moment, amazing sleuthing, a strong, spunky heroine that was remarkably easy to root for, a dashing Prince Charming, drama, true love, like all the things possible!! What a goldmine.

I think Hannah is def doing dtws, but it'll be absolute pandemonium if they both get it. Do we really think they're getting announced on Monday?

I really think they’re both getting it. ABC is not stupid, this would make great TV to follow this relationship along... they’re adored so it would bring in the ratings and they both can kind of dance! I think she’s definitely getting it and now there’s a good chance Ty is too. The pros following him, the producer following him his comment in the interview about wanting to do DWTS. Just seems to all be coming together. The access we would get to them would be next level.
