@AllAboutLove 100% agree here. Elly was a fan favourite and was never going to win. Her receiving quality time was scripted last night as tptb knew she was going to mention Abbie.

Abbie reminds me of so many before - Jessica Jones in Blake’s season, Elly in Tim’s, Alex in Richies. There always is one. It has just been ramped up this year. And Sm is next level nasty.

For the record, you can see it is Chelsie. She would sense is too but would still be unsure. Matt is forfilling him obligations by providing us entertainment (and having fun too no doubt)

If you need more proof that Chelsie is F1, IMO she’s basically gushing about him. I’m ready to see the happy couple and am over the unnecessary drama. I would also like unreleased footage of their time together to be shown.

Despite their steamy chemistry and romantic dates, nurse Elly Miles insists she was never in love with Bachelor Matt Agnew.

Why should Elly have been in love with Matt at this stage? Having feelings for someone does not necessarily mean having fallen in love. I find this much more sincere than pretending you’re in love. JMO.

I don't really see any of these women gushing that they are in love at this stage...unlike the US Bachelor...thank goodness! I find it refreshing that they are not being forced to sprout that they are in love only to be eliminated once they do. It seems much more realistic not being forced to say ILY's, have sex with multiple people in the FS within a few days and then get engaged to one! This is the reason I much prefer the Aussie and NZ versions of the show. They don't make me cringe and leave a bitter taste in my mouth!

None of the women have said they are in love with Matt and he certainly hasn't said he is in love. It only makes Elly more genuine and real that she's not faking that she was in love post-show when many others do. I am sure she had feelings but in love? None of them are at this point imo

Yeah but also saying she wasn't really her type etc was quite fake compared to what she was saying on air IMO.

She wasn't who's type? Matt's type? That's just being honest imo. That's an opinion. I don't see that being fake. I've posted the same thing about these contestants that many aren't his type. The only one I think on the show that is Matt's true type is Chelsie imo.

If I used the logic of holding a contestant accountable to what they say and if they deviate from it or change it somehow then Abbie would fit that bill of being fake. Also, it's an edited show and unless it's a contestant speaking live on tv or radio, it's edited there too. This applies to all of them.

You have reminded me about another factor in common with that season tho.  Helena was first out of the car and so was Nikki.

Thank you for posting this. I didn't understand what was stated in the post above (thus I put a question mark but was misled) and realize it was a typo saying "she wasn't really her type" and was meant to say "his type". Now it makes sense

I actually think it's even more honest for her to say that. And I agree, it's pretty obvious that Matt wasn't her type. Nothing wrong with not being one's type either. Sometimes type is the problem but I get what Elly is saying because of course it is someone more country blokey. 

The same could be said about Abbie or Helena or any of the other women. I highly doubt Matt was their type. He's the bachelor and thus the "prize". 

The only one I think Matt was truly their type is Chelsie. And in her case and Matt's they are truly each other's types imo.   jmo

Based on Abbie’s performance there’s no way the producers would have allowed him to send her home. She’s literally carrying the show no matter how annoying she is for some.
