)For now here's a quick visual/summary:
The first clip is Mary, Helena and Kristen discussing bad date experiences/bad kisses.
Kristen defends "bad kissers", says technique can be improved and you can let your partner know what each other wants through feedback/communication. Her halo shines a little bit brighter.
Helena says nope, bad kisses suck and proceeds to recreate an instance where someone ate her face as if it were a hamburger.
The insider guide is also Kristen-centric. In the "game" where they had to eliminate contestants, she took 10 times as long as the others to decide, and wrote an apology essay underneath.
The second clip is the deleted scene from Kristen getting her date card. They don't show Chelsea reading it (is she THAT hard to understand?!) but she's the one putting the card back in the envelope.
Then Elly sings a little song of celebration.
There's also a bit of the girls sitting around, clearly bored, doing their best (read: worst) Aussie bogan accents.
Helena wins.
I like these clips because you get to hear them speak UNEDITED for more than 10 seconds. Also interesting to see the natural exchanges, who sits with whom, where the friendships are etc.
I wish they included more of this actual reality in our "reality" TV.

After a week of IMO disappointing episode content, let us take a moment to be thankful that at least TPTB gave us a Lead who is a genuine, undeniable, card carrying, Hogwarts flag waving NEEERRRRDDDDD.

Thanks for posting those BTS pics/ videos @Bobette Access is not allowed in the US. It would be nice to have real conversation between the ladies shown rather than the manipulated scenes.

Going back in time here, but I have a question regarding old cast member... I’m watching the first BIP Australia and in it is Ali, who was Bachelorette before that ...and I see we have a banner with her for Season 4 with Taite... is that the one that is referring to and they broke their engagement? I’m not done yet but wonder if her BIP connection is lasting, and where could I find these updates on here?
I find it a refreshing break for me to watch Matt and even the BIP Australia. Again, thanks for including us to enjoy the party!

So Ali became the Bachelorette after she was on BIP, not before.

No worries @Astrobach.
Regarding Ali, she broke off an engagement just before BiP but not to Taite - that came after. I am tagging the rest as a spoiler since I'm not sure how much you (or others) want to know. I am not a fan of Ali but will try to keep it nice - The Tale of Ali:
- So the story goes that Ali was a contestant on the very first Bach AU season 1 with Tim. (Tim is still with his F1 by the way - a good season to put on your list if you're bingeing AU shows). She injured her leg during filming but limped on to be F3.
After that she pretty much dropped off the radar, took up a boring old marketing job in Adelaide and got engaged to some normal guy, before then abruptly cancelling her engagement when she was offered a part on BiP AU season 1. Interesting timing.
The guys on BiP thought she was The Bomb, which I do not understand (though I guess it's the blonde hair and boobs). She ended up with Grant from the US show (BiP AU often has overseas contestants) and left the show as a "committed couple".
According to rumours - backed up by text messages - she then went to LA to see Grant, got wasted (several people have said she has a drinking problem) and, shall we say, "got intimate" with one of his friends, on a staircase, at a party at Grant's house.
All this happened before BiP aired (it takes as long as SIX MONTHS for them to air the show after it films - far too long IMO). So then they air the show, and everyone watches Ali in the finale saying she's in love with Grant and she wants to have his babies...
And then BAM, a single line of text comes up at the end of the last episode saying "it didn't work out, so she's now looking for love again... as the next Bachelorette!". That was it. No grand announcement, just a note in the credits with no explanation.
Many viewers were NOT happy and boycotted her season. There were multiple reports that she almost "killed the AU franchise" because the ratings were so terrible (and bear in mind this was straight off the back of Bach Nick who was... also disappointing).
I managed to get through her season by focussing on her F2, who was adorable (I've since moderated my feelings about him... but that's another story). F1 was IMO only on the show to boost his profile (aren't they all) and had no interest in being F1.
However since he was IMO Ali's type, she wasn't taking no for an answer. She ignored all the IMO obvious signals he wasn't into her and sealed his fate. IMO their relationship to this day is nothing more than a sponsor-seeking business arrangement.

@Bobette Thanks, I’ll check it out. Im not really a fan either, but more very curious of why she seems to be such a big deal when she shows up, it’s like the Queen has arrived. They all are so surprised, happy and threatened at the same time.
