Bachelorette 15 - Hannah Brown - ScreenCaps - *Sleuthing Spoilers* - #3

During that hug, they are rocking back and forth as well.

I don't do that with people I hug. Interesting to me.

So I don't know how to do screen caps. Just watched in slow motion. When CH asks is this the first time you two have seen each other? Something in Hannah's expression indicated that it was and wasn't. I think they have been face timing. That is what I thought immediately. Also, when she is asking him out, his eyes indicate anticipation and his mouth begins to curl slightly up and nostrils flare as he is listening.

Also, going back further, when as he is complementing her about her being powerful he is looking directly at her. Then when he was talking about Jed and being disappointed he looked down and she had to look away. When she is talking about their relationship he is so engrossed in what she says.

THANKS for that link. Here's the thing - if you see this in motion you can see that Tyler has his submissive arm already low and his dominant arm high before he ever reaches Hannah - and Hannah knows which arm will be her submissive and which one will be dominant so as to interlock smoothly with Tyler. A couple doesn't just figure out how to do this right the first time - you have to have done it enough times that it becomes a habit and you know exactly what your partner is going to do else your arms will collide. They did this with the easy and certainty of a couple who has done this before.

I think we are forgetting the SC's upthread that @HEA posted of Tyler's face. If we are going to compare certain SC's, I think we should include them all. Tyler, imo, looked like a deer in headlights to me when she asked him to grab a drink together, pursing/biting his lip, which can mean disapproval or frustration.

Does it change anything that Tyler is a lefty? At least he throws a football left handed. With him grabbing her lower with that hand it feels so intimate to me.  

I learn so much on the board.  Body language is fascinating!

I am not savvy on posting SC'S but @HEA post can be found on this page.   Tyler doesn't look overjoyed to me. Jmo

I see a man that is nervous in front of a studio audience. From his own mouth he says did not feel pressured. If saying tell me when and i'll be there shows he was very up to it. There are a lot of other things he could have said that would down played his response. I guess we see what we want to see.

IMO not in this case. There IS a difference when you look at eye movements - looking up and left means one thing for a right handed person but means exactly the opposite for a lefty. But in terms of "pretzel hugs" it doesn't matter - what does is the sharing of arms on top that indicates emotional "equality". My wife and I sort of fell into pretzel hugs at least 20 years before I ever learned the significance of it - it just sort of happens IF the couple really shares equally.

Thanks so much for the link - I've been hearing about those SCs but could never found them before. Two things:

1 - IMO Before you can start reading body language you have to do a base line:

A baseline is simply the way a person behaves normally, without any special reason to act otherwise. We often try to watch body language for things like whether someone’s lying or if they’re attracted to us, but not everyone behaves the same way under those circumstances. By watching for someone’s baseline, you learn how they behave regularly, and then you can watch for when that behavior changes.

IMO Tyler always does these little things with his lips - this maybe a nervous reaction or just a habit but in practically every scene I've seen him in, he does "things with his lips" IMO what you have to do to get a good read is look for things he does that are different from things he always does.

2 - IMO none of those SCs at that link are of the exact moment when we can first see his reaction to Hannah's drink invitation and you have to consider his reaction to that. That's what I capped because it was his reaction I was interested in.
