Lol! I didn't know Colton told his love story through music. Well, Tyler is telling his story, and unless everything that happened with Hannah is repeating with a new girl, the playlist is about their relationship. IMO

Yes, he tweeted that towards the end of his season.  There were quite a few songs in his IG stories that he initially posted and then reposted at the end that were the unedited originals with Cassie in them.  Spotify does add songs in chronological order (at least to my playlists it does).

I wonder if there were sleuthers following Colton's playlist? Or is that a new thing this season after his admission?

@Patience2415  No, you’re not crazy. Lol. The only reason I put any stock in his play list is I remember Colton tweeted during his season that he had been dropping hints in his play list all along.  Of course I had to go take a listen and, if you followed it from start to finish, it told the whole story if he and Cassie.  

JMHO but to me this is one of the most eye-opening posts in a very long time. I've watched the reports of playlist songs and would often take a song title and look up the lyrics and felt that they really seemed to connect to something either going on about the show's progress (ie a song added that seemed to relate to the FD posted at the time we saw the FD) or a plausible relationship between Tyler and Hannah (assuming that they reconcile). I thought that it was a clever way of sending "bat signals" to Hannah or to us but learning that Colton had done the very same thing caused a jaw drop for me. IIRC Tyler said that he and his father had watched Hannah on a previous season (which would have been Colton's) so it's plausible he actually got this idea from Colton (maybe not directly though that's possible - but at least been aware of what Colton had done from Twitter).
