@bluwavz  Thank you. Man Jed's mom reaction to what Hannah was saying and questions is a big red flag to me.

@Hotmomma None yet but there are a couple media outlets that still get to release previews before the episode.

They are really amping up Tyler ! JMO either she made the switch or they are promoting him for bachelor! JMO

Or maybe she is; sometimes a lack of clarity actually provides clarity. IIRC Haley said that Jed - after talking with his Mom - felt it wasn't right to move forward with her (Haley) without giving her an out. She didn't take the out but I wonder just how much else Jed's mother might know about Haley and the relationship between Jed and Haley and how it developed over the last 4 months - apparently Jed talks to his mother. IMO she knows some things but doesn't want to embarrass her son by saying anything more than what she says.

Yeah, I'm thinking there is a whole lot going on behind the scenes that we as viewers will ever know. The SM slip up by his dad that I've read about is just the tip of the iceberg.

Haley in her RS interview did say that they both met each others parents and spent time with them over the Christmas Holiday. So Jed's parents/family are very aware of his relationship with Haley. IMO, I would think they knew of Jed's plan to leave at f5 like he originally planned and maybe his parents skepticism comes from Jed telling them he changed his mind and was going to stay on the show.

Another thing we learned from this clip is that Jed did share a past-relationship story with Hannah. "I know he dated a girl for a long time." Just not his relationship with Haley.

Can you imagine being Hannah, wearing her Neil Lane monstrosity, excitedly talking about moving to Nashville and Jed drops "hey babe, there's something I should tell you about another Nashville girl. It isn't a big deal and we weren't serious, but she does run in our circles and you might hear a few things."

To be so deliberately deceitful is just awful. Jed pitched her one-story during the process, then told her a half-truth after the engagement and then was totally exposed when everything came out in the People article. Poor Hannah.

The nerve of Jed's mom to question Hannah's ily at all is just... wow. Some family.

This is the most upsetting. I want to see it all play out but yep, I think you nailed it!

In all fairness to the mom, she’s all but sitting here telling Hannah her son is emotionally unavailable. Girl, you gotta listen to that. Why Hannah ignored all this, and refused to question Jed about anything, like anything at all, and instead sat goggly eyed while he strummed guitar, and played piano, and sang through is nose... while she gave no red flags Tyler the Spanish Inquisition is just... wow. It hurts. Hurts.
