For the sake of future Leads, I'd like to suggest contestants should be single - is that too much to expect? As I said re: Carlin, dropping news like this while filming puts the Lead in a position where they can't get the full story, which IMO is unfair, because marriages end and divorces are "delayed" for varying reasons.

Case in point, Adam's situation is very different to Carlin's situation IMO.  Having children complicates divorce proceedings no end, and trying to fix a 10 year marriage for the sake of your children before deciding you're better separate is more understandable to me than ending an 1 year marriage because you "drifted apart".

Family man Adam was open about his two kids on the show from the start, but made no mention of an ongoing marriage with his ex.

A source close to Adam and his wife confirmed the pair were still legally wed while the filming was underway.

“Adam Sellars is still married to the mother of his two children Sarah-Rose Sellars,” the source told Yahoo Lifestyle.

“It was mentally over for them ages ago,” the source continues, explaining for the sake of their children the pair tried and failed, to stick it out.

Married in 2009, the pair separated in 2017 but remain married in the eyes of the law.
