I think Hannah came into this show with preconceived notions of the type of man she wanted (Luke and Jed) and never fully opened herself up to the other possibilities. That's on her. That's why I've felt watching the show back could change things for her even outside of seeing Jed's deception. I think she stereotyped Tyler very early on as a dumb jock who's super hot and she has great chemistry with. Now watching the show back and paying attention to who he's shown himself to be in real life, she can finally see him. He reads books that weren't just assigned reading in school, people are drawn to him, he goes to church (not just when his lies are blowing up in his face), he's passionate about giving back, he's great with kids, he defends her always, etc. I'm not saying she's gonna fall in love with him, but I hope now she can say nice things about him that are unrelated to his looks.

How do we know that Jed doesn’t go to church every Sunday ?

Are you reading my mind?  .    I was going to ask the same question.  I try to attend church every Sunday, but I don't feel the need to broadcast it on SM.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I was really disappointed with the date Hannah had with Tyler, because they totally butchered that horse date!   As someone who has rode horses growing up, I saw so many moments that just made me cringe. Lets see ~ they mounted the horses from the wrong side, their heels were not down (maybe need to adjust stirrups), holding the reins wrong - too tight. At one point Hannah was pulling the reins back, while kicking the horse to go forward, sending completely wrong messages to the horse. I'm also part Swedish and I would never touch pickled herring! Was she trying to punish him in someway? Just had to mention this...

Sorry I have to disagree with you I am also from the south and your statements about how southern woman are not right. Women from the south are not married and pregnant by the age of 24 . Most women are waiting till their late twenties to get married.

That’s your opinion as my statement that I made is based off of what I have seen and grown up in all my life.  Most of the women I know are married in their early to mid twenties. I am the exception. Not all women are married with children at that age, as that would be preposterous, but in my experience and from what I know, most southern women tend to marry in their mid twenties or right out of college. Sorry if you disagree, but I don’t like being called wrong over such silly matters.

Well, in her defense, the good ol’ southern boy she’s always gone for hasn’t worked out for her too well. I’m thinking she has seen the error of her ways and has realized what she needed and wanted was right under her nose the whole time, but I could be wrong. I could just be wanting him for myself

Let me add, that not ALL good ol’ southern boys are bad. They are actually some of the best men you’ll ever find if you can grab one up. IMO of course.
