I don't get it either.  If they were really "going back to basics" like they've said then I would expect season 1 to be the model and Anna wasn't an obvious winner at all IMO - all the early attention was on Ali IIRC.  

@Zaynab Yes I think you're right and the journalist who wrote that article just misinterpreted Matt's answers.  They wouldn't even have to deal with airport visits so easier than ever to have sneaky visits IMO.

ETA:  Chelsea looks relaxed and happy in those pics thanks for bringing them over @Bachbee.  We may not be getting a mystery this season but at least it seems we'll end up with a genuinely loved up couple. 

I need to see more of Chelsie because I’m not warming to her just yet.

I love Chels' hair at the next rose ceremony . And I'm getting major Taylor Swift vibes from it.

Is it wrong for me to ask why Chelsie is the potential frontrunner from Sportsbet & the Media? I just don't see it, maybe need new glasses.

IMO she's frontrunner for Sportsbet because they have inside sources (crew, paps, dodgy producers) who told them she won, and the media know Sportsbet have a proven track record so they picked up the story and ran with it in an attempt to look credible.

IMO their connection is being hidden at this stage which is why you don't see it.  F1s usually get a single date early on, are then backgrounded until mid-season while the boring bitchiness/drama plays out, then they re-emerge to cement the connection.  

Often F2 comes into play mid-season as the "slow burn" and makes a late charge.  Going by what we've been shown in eps 1 & 2 Helena's getting the F2 edit at this stage IMO so unless that changes IMO it's probably Chelsea F1 Helena F2 Abbie F3 Emma F4.

And just to add to @Bobette's points and the media running with it, in interviews I've seen whenever Chelsie is mentioned, Matt lights up, he's giddy, flustered. In his interview on The Project, he was like a little school boy trying not to blush.

Maybe it is just me but her night 1 meeting with Matt was one of the best I have seen in any version of this show, going all the way back to season 1 of Bachelor US. The promo clip of that, along with what I saw of Matt, is what convinced me to watch this season after the Honeybadger fiasco.

He could have put that tattoo on the back of his hand or wrist, but he unbuttoned his shirt, twice!
She received a rose at the first group date, too bad we didn’t see much of their interactions.

@sdmom Re: the unspoiled, I don't think we're allowed to reference that thread at all (I purposely don't visit it in case I mess up and accidentally mention something! ) so you may need to edit your post?

I actually think it would be pretty easy to pick Chelsea as F1 if one was unspoiled and going just from the edit and season preview - ironically it was her OTT presence in preshow media that threw me off!

Re: the bold, I think male contestants usually wear thermal vests under their shirts (it's often very cold when they film!) so IMO he was told to take it off for the tat - producer ploy IMO, but it came off well.
