A lot of people have speculated that it could have something to do with him not fitting in with the overall narrative this season. In other words, they're obviously going to give Hannah a Southern Belle Sweetheart edit, and a lot of the guys that they cast are from the South (Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, etc.), so I guess it wouldn't really make much sense to cast a 'Guido' type from New York.

Could be. Shame. He seemed like a really nice guy on that video he did and seems to have had a lot of family difficulties this past year.

Wow!  Wish he could have stayed, been on BIP, seems to have a lot to offer.  No one is gonna be universally liked.  I'm also guilty of forming opinions on a first impression.  I think this can be a lesson for me.  Unless something horrible about his actions come forth, I think he was done wrong.  Firefighters and nurses are two occupations I most admire.  He was both in one guy.

ETA: Ya know some jerk is still capable of slipping through and I'm gonna be saying Joe was robbed!!!

SM can be disgusting IMHO.
