You are probably right. Everyone tuned in to watch the clip show episode and they got their highest ratings yet so who knows what they are willing to do to promote the show !

Not if one of them becomes the next lead.  Similar to what happened to JoJo.  Ben chose Lauren, but everyone fell in love with JoJo and were disappointed when she wasn't the F1, but she was given the gig of 'Ette so everyone was happy again.  We shall see what happens.

I do agree that train wrecks lures viewers. Heck , this might break all records

But it also might break some of these people! Peter allegedly had a breakdown, Tyler seems to be pushing through and turning all of this awfulness into good, but this could crush Hannah. She's just a 24 year old girl. Yes, she made some terrible mistakes about men but what 24 year old girl hasn't. She doesn't deserve all of this and it's going to get worse.

The timing of this People story seems very convenient.  RS broke the news that Jed was the f1 and then boom this story breaks the same day. Is People affiliated with the show at all since they always do the post show photo spread?  Would TPTB have to give an okay to release the story at this particular time?

I’m wondering the same thing. It’s just all suspect to me. I know RS chose his timing wisely. I’m pretty sure he knew the story was going to drop yesterday so he dropped his spoiler for Jed being f1 yesterday to coincide with it. Not sure about the filler episode and how that plays into it though. It’s all just so suspicious.

IMO, I think RS would have alluded to the fact that the crap was going to hit the fan, Re Jed, and he didn't. RS wants the world to think that he knows every single thing going on in BN, and he doesn't. I think he was completely blindsided by the People article, just as the rest of us were. In fact, he said that yesterday was one of the craziest days in the history of him covering the show. He did mention that he had 'heard' the same stuff, but wasn't in a position to run with it.
I for one, see zero chemistry with Hannah and Jed. Her chemistry with Tyler is burning up my tv screen. I agree. Something is just not right with all of this.

There really is something brewing with the production staff. No way they let people come out of the article NOW. They could have requested People to wait for the season to play out in case they really did have a heads up. Wouldn't the exclusive jeopardize the ratings of the show ? wouldn't people magazine get a bigger bang for their buck if they came up with this news article if Jed the F1 was exposed ? instead of Jed the front runner ?

Quite the contrary.  They ran it because they know it will boost their ratings.  People will tune in until the end to see how it all plays out.  They know exactly what they are doing.  

People will tune in to see if she did pick Jed, if she changed her mind, if it’s indeed Jed, are they still together, etc etc.
and, many people have short term memory. I actually think the timing is perfect. TPTB will have time to edit the rest of the season to change the narrative any way they want. We still have the second 1-1 with Jed and Tyler, HTD, FD. LCD. Hannah can Stand by her man saying he told me everything we have great communication and Jed can say I am not proud of my old behavior but learn from my mistakes and I want to be a better man for her, blah blah blah. Awww.... how love triumphs!

They should hire me to write for the next season.

Okay, I'll step out on a limb here and just say it, but I'm still cautiously questioning the "new" spoilers. The timing of all of this Jed news seems very suspect to me. I have always thought Jed was there to promote his music, and graciously played his roll as the f2 guy. If there was ever a season to stir things up with spoilers, this is the season to do it given the friendship that Tyler and Jed seem to have. I'm not going to go full blown conspiracy theory yet, but I just have it tucked away and I'll keep watching for clues.

@sdmom Agree completely. I do wonder what they can do if these bar videos/photos surface though. That looks even worse.

If Jed treats his ex like he did - what's to say he won't treat Hannah (if she picked him as her F1) the same ?? Should have settled things with the ex first. Maybe he did .... bu then the People article did not mention that.
How come no steamy make out scenes with Jed ?
Interesting that Hannah wanted the guys to trust her judgement to pick the right guy for her - in reference to Luke P. Do we still trust her judgement if Jed is F1 ? And of course all the shaming about Scott having a gf at home. Doesn't make sense !!

Jed has two ex’s in question. First was the one who ended badly with Jed and developed emotional issues because of him. Then Haley who was ghosted which also equates to ending badly . Jed is such a winner

I don't dislike Hannah at all -- I like her. I liked her as Bachelorette until the last episode. However, all of these people interviewing her and viewers have been talking about how's she's such a wonderful Bachelorette and what a fantastic season. After keeping Luke P. until Fantasy Suites and then picking Jed -- I don't know how people can still say that IMO. I sure can't. I wonder if any will change their tune?

Honestly, I wonder if she will have any interviewers brazen enough to ask her why in the heck didn't she choose Tyler or Peter instead for example? Love to see how she's going to promote the show now. In fact, knowing how this plays out -- my respect for her in the role of Bachelorette has plummeted and I wish they would have chosen someone else for it. Tyler for Bachelor!

The only way the season can be redeemed is if she dumps Jed and says she's learned a lot about herself and her self-worth and her mistakes with men and she's going to continue working on herself so she stops repeating old patterns.
