Bachelor Australia - Matt Agnew - Season 7 - Screencaps - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

@sprout Not off the top of my head.  Anyone else recognise the locale?  Abbie's from QLD so HTD is a possibility.  We should check her IG for beach pics.  

Bringing this over from the SM thread and adding a closeup.  Can anyone think of a reason for Helena to be in Melb other than the golden ticket?

To the screen cap thread!  Let's see if we can identify SCaps taken in Melbourne.  And when I say we, I mean can someone else please have a look, since I've only been to Melbourne once and was drunk at art exhibitions like 75% of the time.  

ETA:  Is this Flemington or Randwick?

That's Flemington!! I could recognise Melbourne's skyline in the background every single day of the week!

Also, my first gut instinct of Chelsea and Matt abseiling down the building was Melbourne as well..

It's late season IMO - they seem very comfortable kissing each other.

The one thing that makes me not 100% this is Helena is that they play her voice over this footage in the promo - and they usually like to mix things up (putting one contestant's voice over footage of another girl).   But the hair does look like a match IMO.

I can't remember what Helena says, but foreshadowing perhaps? I mean, in all the US Bachelor trailers for last season, whenever Colton spoke of love or losing his virginity or someone not being ready for an engagement, they always overlapped it with a clip of Cassie - I know that's different lead and F1, but could also be continuing to set up the fairytale F3/2 storyline.

Just watching the finale of Love Island UK (very happy with the outcome BTW ) and Caroline has announced they're filming the next season in Capetown?!  

That makes Bach UK, Bach Sth Africa, Bach AU FRC and now Love Island all filmed there within the space of 12-18 months.  Are they offering cheap work visas or something?

Or maybe the South African Tourist Commission have realised there's a goldmine to be made by inviting international dating reality shows to showcase their countryside.

Ex-South African here. The exchange rate makes it really cheap to film in SA - the Rand (SA currency) is crap, US$, Pounds or AU$ go a real long way. All my opinion

Plus, it is a stunning country - you have a bit of everything: sea, mountains, game reserves

Re the racecourse above. It’s Flemington in my opinion. I recognise the commission flats in the background. Here a pic too to confirm. What do you all think?

Thanks @Spoil Me Again - that makes a lot of sense!  The AU show has been strapped for cash for ages and was almost axed - it would have helped keep them in the Ch 10 lineup to have a cheap, non-celeb Lead and a budget FRC.  

Also I agree, countryside is stunning 

@Sundy, great find on the block of flats!  @butterflylove is a Melbournian and also thinks it's Flemington so I think the two of you are spot on.  Some of us think it's Helena in the carriage from the glimpse of hair; would you agree?  

If so that would seem to imply Helena gets the Golden Ticket (date with Matt in his hometown) since she's from WA, so if it was her hometown it wouldn't be at Flemington, and we can't think of any other reason for her to be there.

What do you think?

Who is the girl with the dark hair kissing Matt on the party bench. That dog IMO is hers and therefore I’m wondering if it is a HTD? That is unless there is a date that involves dogs???

That would be an understatement. 

In the running for a hometown IMO are Chelsea, Abbie, Helena and possibly Kristen, though she's a mystery package and IMO might be eliminated or possibly walk around F5 (since she's been living in China, she may not have been "set up" for a HTD).

They are ALL blonde though, and I can't see them allowing an all blonde, all white finale in a season supposedly celebrating Diversity.  Also none are from NSW, so IMO it's possible Emma (brought dogs) will be in the 4 as a token brunette/NSW resident.  

That would give us:

Chelsea - VIC
Emma - NSW
Helena - WA
Abbie - QLD

While you're here, who do you think could be F2?  IMO Helena's acting more like an F4 post show (already approaching sponsors) and looks physically too similar to Chelsea to be F2 (we literally thought they were the same girl for like 2 months of sleuthing ).

Abbie IMO will get a hot and heavy physical edit and most likely F3 which leaves us needing an F2 to counterbalance Chelsea and IMO there's enough of Emma in the promo to suggests she goes far.  Otherwise Kristen could be F2 but something seems off with her.

Yes the dogs are hers but she lives in NSW so not a stretch to bring them on set.

IMO you might be right then @Bobette about Helena getting a special Melbourne date. Unless it’s an intruder and that’s unlikely
