Unfortunately it makes sense @Bobette. I suspect cracks and warning bells will start subtlely sounding slowly overtaking chemistry and the age difference will be used as an excuse

Do we know what the episode 5 group date is? Hopefully some single quality time for Chelsie otherwise her single date is going to seem so random

I think I remember reading something about a treasure hunt but I might be imagining that...

I feel like Abbie is peaking way too early to be F2 but I guess they're just going to shove her right into the background as Chelsea and Helena emerge over the next few weeks.

Once the antagonists leave, her edit may smooth out a bit (especially if they're going to frame it as if she was being bullied, and the bully gets sent home, vindicating Abbie).

ETA:  Just noticed this - DING DING DING - looks like the same earrings to me so all part of the same date IMO 





And she's also wearing them here - presumably the next filming day?

Foxtel tv guide says there are single dates ep5, so I'm assuming there will be 2 dates, and no group date (but lots of drama).  Desperately hoping Chelsie is one of the dates.

@Agent99 Possibly, but I don't think they'd want to "pollute" Chelsea's date by having it in the same episode as all the drama, IYKWIM? 

She needs to be the breath of fresh air that's been right in front of him the whole time and makes him feel hopeful again, after the madness, IMO.

That's how I'd script it anyway.    The other date could be a quick/cheap daytime thing with one of the MoTs, maybe Emma picnic in the park.

I agree, however IMO the cooking dates are multipurpose because they can be filmed at short notice and slotted in anywhere, e.g. from what was rumoured at the time, I'm pretty sure Tara's cooking was a reshoot due to lack of chemistry shot much later and edited back in - same with Flo and the pottery.

It's possible IMO Matt was legitimately pissed at not being allowed to spend time with the girls he was interested in so TPTB threw something together for him to see Chelsea.  [An alternative but similar theory - if it was Vakoo cooking not Chelsea I would suspect they gave it to her to keep her on the show].
