Bachelorette 15 - Tyler Cameron - **Sleuthing Spoilers**

I would absolutely not pick Tyler out of a lineup of people I thought she’d go for either, @alanna. I figured she’d go for someone in the Colton mold, Luke P. (Minus the phsychopathary) variety. So much boring/meh (to me). The fact that not only she went with this sexy/James Dean-esque chameleon man, but also that they have such natural chemistry with major sexual tension is what makes both Hannah and her season so much more intriguing to me. JMO

Me too. I thought her perfect man is Sean Lowe, not a baddy James dean type who greets her with a casually slurred, hayyyyyy giiirl. I’m in love with this scenario though. Hannah is probably very different on the inside than the blonde pageant southern queen persona. In a good way.

Hey, I get it....I don’t do his podcast either, but I did this one and it was great! Lol

I think this was a great date for Tyler to show he’s not a player. IMO a player has a playbook of strategies he references of how to get a girl’s attention, how to keep her interested, how to get sexy time. It’s how to recycle strategies that have worked for self gratification. A woman might feel she is the only one to hear the line or be the recipient but she’s likely the 20th.
Tyler entered an unpredictable situation and handled it like a guy with relationship skills. Looks great so far

Maybe it's just me and I'm old, I don't take that sh*t I'd probably eliminate him on the spot if he felt that way after 10 minutes of knowing me.

To me it sounded cheesy and almost proposal like.

Tyler actually acts and interacts with Hannah the way Bryan acted with Rachel. IMO. It’s interesting to me to see people who thought Bryan was all cheesy playa eating up Tyler, but also vice versa.... people super into Bryan/Rachel dynamic not feeling what Tyler is selling. Cause to me, Tyler and Bryan and how they interact with their lead is suuuuuper similar. Turns out Bryan was actually there for the right reasons, and I admit I was super hard core laughing at/questioning his overt declarations on the show many times... so... idk. It’s an important lesson for everyone not to make snap judgments about people cause we really know so little about them/the circumstance. Time will tell the whole picture. JMO.

^^ I think Bryan and Tyler are super similar too! 

I agree that we don't know yet if he is insincere, just because he is (IMO) using player moves. I always did think Bryan was sincere, just because I always bought that Rachel was his dream girl and that he wanted to settle down, based on what we knew about his past relationships. I'm having a harder time telling with Tyler, but I think it's way too soon to make any judgments one way or the other. I'm definitely curious to see what Tyler does post-season, whether he's F1 or not.

My post was about why I don’t see him as a player. Maybe my opinion will change but for now I think he is a viable option for Hannah

I think the difference for me between Bryan and Tyler is that Tyler seems to be taking things much more slowly. Bryan practically ate Rachel's face the first night. Nothing wrong with that as long as she enjoyed it...and clearly she did...it is just not my thing. Tyler also appears more flirty/funny IMO and I enjoy that. I know that what I like doesn't matter in the scheme of things since I am not dating these guys, but it is what draws me to one and not the other. Also, how I felt about the leads could also be shaping my views on the matter. I am enjoying Hannah way more than I did Rachel.

Well as one who did like Bryan and defended him a lot throughout Rachel's season, I will say that the way many dismissed him as a player, cheesy, saying all the right things and seeing how things evolved with him and Rachel is definitely a major reason why I've felt a bit defensive of Tyler against the, "he's too smooth, obvious player" accusations.

That said, I will agree with the above post that one interesting difference between Tyler and Bryan is that Tyler hasn't been as all in with Hannah from the start like Bryan was with Rachel. At least far as what we've been shown. The fact that he and Hannah didn't even speak on the first night was interesting to me. Yeah the Scott drama happened but plenty of other guys managed to have some one on one time with her. That made me think Tyler wasn't particularly aggressive in trying to get time with Hannah. Which kind of aligns with his seemingly laid back and chill approach to things.

And much of what we'd seen of them before last week's one on one in my opinion, simply showed two people clearly attracted to and flirty with each other. They clearly liked each other but Hannah was obviously wary and still trying to figure him out and Tyler for his part seemed to clearly like her and want to be around her but I didn't think he was trying to sell some madly in love with her line.

It's interesting but I think sometimes people who know the right things to say are almost penalized for that in that the assumption is that they're insincere. And that's sort of the case with Tyler. He said all the right things, handled the situation so effortlessly that it almost seems like this must be inauthentic and things he's said many times before. Putting aside the fact that Tyler was on the debate team, lest we forget, some people are just good at handling difficult and uncomfortable situations. I think Tyler chill and laid back approach is exactly why he may be good in these situations.
