Luke, 30, comes from a divorced home and barely has a relationship with his father. He’s not afraid to go outside his comfort zone. Kate, 27, is extremely close to her parents and two brothers, and regardless of her parents’ recent divorce, she’s still searching for The One.

Interesting that Luke already knows Kate from somewhere. I'm anxious to know what the backstory is.

If what they are showing in the previews is accurate I feel so bad for her. She seems sweet and he seems so distant.
He was (or seemed to be) upset that she didn't recognize him right away at the wedding: sort of like if I didn't make an impression on you in real life I'm cutting you off right now.

I think Luke fancies himself a hipster and would prefer an edgier woman. I think it's clear he's not physically attracted to Kate. He questioned her coffee consumption and said, so no moderation? Bet he'd be the type to bug her about her weight too. I get that smoking could be a deal breaker, but she agreed to let it go. The most excitement he showed was when they visited the sloths. I don't get why he did this show.
